I am a 1st grade teacher- one of our parents works for the Saints in the Youth division. He brought it to school today- all we knew was that "something special" was coming to visit 1st grade at 1:30. We didn't know if it was a player, mascot, etc. All we knew was that it had something to do with the Saints. We never expected the Lombardi!!! The parent said this was the first school visit of the Lombardi and the last day it would be in N.O. as it was leaving to be engraved.

How exciting- and it looks like we may have a VERY SPECIAL visitor in April- I will post pics if it goes through- fingers crossed!!!!

Wow!!!

Not each 1st grader- but groups of them together. Plus- I had my son's Flip video camera so I taped about 8 minutes and am making a DVD for the parents. It shows when they walked in with it and all of the kids screaming- one little girl was even crying
