Yup - sounds like the person was just trying to advertise him/herself as a referral. I wonder how much money they've made so far.

Do you really think it's resourceful or just plain unethical????

The listing fees are likely less than a dollar. I'm not sure it's unethical but it's not something I'd be comfortable with. But it's no different than people on this board PM and emailing their names trying to get the referral, which seems to be happening all the time around here. I prefer to stay out of such things like this as I don't want to give the appearance of a conflict of interest if I make a recommendation, I don't even turn in the names of those I rent to as referrals as some do. It's the same reasoning that I don't give out drug samples in the office.
