I'm so excited!! But I've got to wait for the battery to charge!
But by tomorrow morning I should be able to get this baby out and practice, practice, practice.
I'm starting to read the manual NOW!!! But be prepared for question after question!
I guess now I'll have to take out the "S3is family member" from my sig.....

I get jokes!! Well, after I Googled 450D to see what it is, stupid Canon and their confusing different names! Have fun shooting and post some pics!

Welcome to the Canon family! You're gonna love your new camera and all the lenses you haven't bought yet. Watch as your $$$ starts flying away from your wallet at lightning speed.

If your manual is too confusing, you might try heading to your local bookstore and picking up any Intro to Digital Photography book. That'll probably help you lots with learning photography with your new DSLR.

You should be able to find a book in the Magic Lantern series which is easier reading than an owners manual.
