Look what DVC has done to me!

My signature has multiple trip countdowns!
And we're getting APs for the first time for our May trip!

For the very astute, you'll realize my countdown for my Christmas trip in 2010 can't possibly be booked yet if we were using our DVC. We actually are using our "regular" timeshare for that one. Staying off property isn't very appealing but there's nowhere else I'd rather go, so it was a good excuse to make our first Holiday trip! JUST booked it! Sheraton Vistana 2BDR.

Now I'm researching which Disney cruise to tag onto an early May 2011 Disney trip to make good use of our APs! I think we'll try Kidani for this stay.

Do you think we'll get Disneyed out?

How is that Sheraton Vistana? I have considered buying a "regular" timeshare and that is one of the ones I would like to look at.

We haven't stayed there before. I just know Sheraton has comfortable beds and it looked nice. The one we own is actually in Austria and we just exchange it for where ever we feel like traveling. We use our "regular" timeshare for Hawaii, New Orleans, Las Vegas, Gatlinburg, Cancun, etc. I would never trade my DVC!

I can top that.....my Christmas countdown is for a DVC trip that I haven't booked yet!!! And....I've had that countdown there for months!!!

Nope -- you can't get Disneyed out. Your trips are what you make of them.

I too want to squeeze a cruise in there as well. Enjoy!

How is that Sheraton Vistana? I have considered buying a "regular" timeshare and that is one of the ones I would like to look at.

My parents and aunts and uncles have owned at Vistana for as long as I can remember. Growing up that is where we always stayed when we went to Disney. It's very nice - beautiful landscaping, great pools, lots of fun activities, and the complex is HUGE! You'll easily need a car to get from one part of the property to another. Of course, it lacks the Disney themeing, but if you have to stay off property, it's a great place to stay!
