That is the date of the Annual Walt Disney Company Shareholder's Meeting (being held in San Antonio).

It is my personal thought that Disney will either raise or eliminate the one million cap and make the announcement at that meeting. The actual cost to Disney for the free entries is really very low, and the publicity being received is worth very much more than that.

Again, this is a personal opinion and is in no way to be construed as any sort of official notice and I have not heard anything related to this at work. And please do not quote this as any sort of official statement.

I'd love to see this happen for all those who haven't completed their volunteering. I'm somewhat skeptical since there have been many posts regarding the March 5th cut-off date for registering. Why would Disney close down the site then re-open after this meeting? It's unlike them to undo a significant change they've just made to a program. Just my humble opinion .

I think it will be more likely that they will tout their success with the program on the 10th, and possibly announce a different program.

Interestingly, the 10th is also the D23 1st anniversary event in Disneyland...

This would be my favorite option! Birthday was cute, but not something we could do (could this year though for DS and DH, just our luck it ended), GAD is cute and has been successful but has it's downfalls as well, I would love to see something 'random' like YOMD come back, suprise FP's, ear hats, something and do away w/ What Would You Celebrate altogether.

Yes, I listened to it...I didn't even hear the mention, but they blacked out the video presentations.

The only real news of general interest was the Premier Passport...
