We used to have Dish Network (also a news item)
but it got too expensive when we added more televisions
you pay per TV with them
so we switched to cable
that allowed us TV's everywhere.......no extra charge



I have no lawsuit with Dish, in case you are wondering if I am about to get rich. The sad answer to that would be "no".

didn't see where that is exactly but

(if you get the Parmesan-Peppercorn dipping sauce with Olive Garden's calamari, that's 1,190 calories, thank you very much).


I think it is a good idea to post nutrition info on the menu. Not sure it should be LAW, but good to know for wise consumers!

We have had a wonderful shopping morning....

I hate Toys R Us, but DD10 wanted to look at the bookbags
since we got a flyer that the lunchbox is free if you buy a bookbag


so against my better judgement I agreed we could look at the BOOKBAGS
one of the things I hate about the store, is that it is impossible to drag the kids out of there, an entire store of the things they like to look at....
also, they do not sell popcorn combos



anyway


she picked out a Disney bookbag
and got the free match Disney lunchbox
and if you bought Disney, you got a free mickey water bottle cup

so the only thing I purchased was the $14.99 bookbag
and got the lunchbox and cup free
and DD10 is already using the cup
and taking it with her to Disney, so she says

yes we are. but as long as I'm inside I am good

so miss contact enthusiast

was sent home yesterday with trial pairs
she is to practice for the next week
and we go back next Friday to the eye doc
and she can demonstrate whether or not she is good at putting in the contacts
and taking them out, I suppose

and if she likes them and wants them
the will order her a three month supply then

so no wasted money for me
if she hates them after this week long trial period


pretty cool, I think!



She started to show her ugly side
when she was trying to put them intoday
but I just used the reverse psychology of
"maybe you just aren't ready for contacts, honey"

and less than five minutes later, both eyes were contacted

which we are getting for Dfather-in-law
