How old is she Nancy? We had my DsD11 this weekend.... oh are we ever getting the preteen attitude. I swear I wanted to tell her not to come out of her room until she decided to be nice.

Were we this way? I do not remember being snotty to my paretns just trying to avoid them.

She's 13... so it's the teen attitude.. Just think.. you are getting it now.. so you'll know what to expect with your littlest one!!! Now, for the most part it isn't bad..but some days..

Were we this way? NO!! NO way! Not us.. but to hear my mom as she laughs hysterically when I call down for advice.. I'm getting just what I did and more! I was not a bad girl, I was the good girl! What is she thinking?? Yep, I had fun as a kid..but I don't remember being so snotty to my parents!

Yes, I got mouthy once I got my car.. thought I could leave and they wouldn't stop me.. took one time of finding my keys off the rack... I learned to wait til I was out of the house in the car to complain loudly about them!

I got mouthy once. When I was 16. It only happened once. The back of my Dad's hand met my mouth and that was it for me. (but no, he wasn't a hitter, so I think was the shock of it that made the connection in my brain)

Dad never hit here either...but sometimes I think the reaction to what we said was a shocker for them! I learned when he took my car keys.. Hello? I thought I was an adult at that point.. then he offered me the car note, insurance costs, and cost of maintenance and gas.. I decided it was better to play by his rules!

Yeah I just don't remember ever giving lip to my parents face. Behind that back I was probably a little devil, but you respected your parents more than to talk to them directly like that. Apparently she has been giving her Mom a lot of attitude (which between all of us I can understnad because her Mom tries to act more like a girlfriend then Mom) and apparently she said to her Do yuo act like this to your Dad and when she said no.... there was this whole blow up. And so now we get it too or at least worse this weekend then normal. Nancy I'll be pming you later when I have a chance. I have one of those stepmom questions you are sure to love

That tree of life is soooooo Cool!!!! I want one! I want one!!! I have a great shot of the tree and had it printed in 8X10 for my album, and that would be so cool to put on the opposite page with the other pics of stuff around the tree of life! If someone wants to cut all the critters for me, that would be way cool and I would just assemble at home!!!! Let me know and send me a PM and I will even send paper and whatever you need!!! I really love that!!!!

Look forward to it.. Well, lucky for us.. the stepboys share the wealth in attitude towards both of their parents.. Even though there are times of "civil disagreement" between the families.. the good thing is we are all united when it comes to the boys' upbringing.. DH's EX and I can get along well enough to sit at the kids' games together and general chit chat.. believe me though.. it's not all roses!!!

If I had the cricut already and the cartridge I would do it with no problem.. I hope to get it this weekend.. and especially the AK cartridge.. I can't remember from our database if anyone has the AK cartridge...
