Looks like the rain is coming when we're there next weekend. I'm okay with that as hopefully it will keep the crowds down (we're used to rain) but it went from 1-2 days of slight chances to 2 full days of solid rain. :scared1:. It could change in a moment but I should plan ahead, just in case it does happen.

Quack quack... time to bring out my inner duck.

We have rain jackets that we wear here but do you think we'll be too warm in them? I could track down some thin rain poncho's at Walmart or something. Do you think that will be better?

We have cold rain here all the time but maybe LA gets warm rain... :confused3

The three times I have gone when it has been raining in Disneyland (Dec., Nov, April)--it has always been a coldish rain. It isn't like the warm rain they have in Florida. We were there in November in the rain, and I was happy to have my North Face rain jacket with hood. Ponchos are good for the wet rides and also watching shows in the rain. We actually watched World of Color in the POURING, freezing, windy rain. We had 5 of us and 3 ponchos--so we gave the kids the ponchos and my husband and I huddled together. My lips were blue by the time we got back to the Disneyland Hotel. I called the shower first!

It may change. You never know:confused3. We're heading down today and last week it was calling for rain on Sunday and Monday and now it looks to be sunshine and 76 degrees:banana:. I'm leaving our rain jackets in Vancouver.

I feel for you, as we have our trip scheduled for Wed/Thurs, and it's looking like rain. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that it will go away!

If it's going to rain, it won't be a warm rain. It's great weather today, almost 80 degrees...but it's supposed to be in the low 60s next week.

I saw that rain is forecasted too. I dont mind on and off rain, or even a slight drizzle, but I would much prefer gloomy over rainy, and sunny over both! BTW, my wife and I are going to be there next wed, through sat. I hope the forecast is off a bit.

The rain in Anaheim may not be as warm as Florida but it is certainly warmer than here.
Today it is raining and it is 4 Celsius which is 39.2 Fahrenheit. So low 60s isn't that bad for us here from the West Coast. Low 60s is between 16-18 Celsius which is spring temperatures so you may need your raincoats but if you are from the Vancouver area, I don't think you will be that cold.
I always say cold and warm is relative to what you are used too!
By Canadian standards, it is always warm in the Vancouver area but compared to California, we are definitely more used to the cold.

Bummer about the forecast!

My kids will be wearing their raincoats next week. I like to use a poncho for myself, because I can just throw it over my park bag and everything stays dry.

I hear ya! We'll be there Wed - Saturday of next week. Hope the rain moves along! Uggh.

Thanks everyone. My youngest has just a thin rain jacket which shouldn't be too warm but my oldest only has a rain jacket with a warm (but thin) lining. Maybe I should pick up a lighter one for her.

I'm okay with the rain but it might make for some grumpy kids. We'll make sure to bring extra socks and maybe even extra shoes and store them in a locker... just in case. Having wet feet is NOT fun.

It does look unseasonably cold for LA, but nice and spring-like for us West Coasters.

We are going to be there Wed and Thurs. I see light rain is expected. I hope it's not more than that. I will deal with it either way though. It could mean less crowds. :thumbsup2

Well--the 60's are the highs for the day. But when the sun goes down, it typically gets much colder. When we there and it was raining, it was in the 30's at night. We were out every night of our trip till late, and it was always very cold after 7:00 or so. The temps easily drop 20-30 degrees at night from daytime highs. This is when you really want to have a good jacket at Disneyland. There is nothing worse than wishing you had one and having to be cold because you didn't pack it.

I'm only kinda dreading the rain.. Only kinda because the crowds will be less and most of the time your on a ride or inside waiting for one.. Plus DD an my ponchos are already packed :) oh! and we have crocs.. so not too worried :)

Well temperatures in the 30s is definitely a lot colder than the low 60s. I didn't realize that the temperatures in California can change that much from day to night.
Definitely need a good coat for nighttime in those temperatures!

It's also cold in the morning -- could be in the 40's then too. You should definitely bring something warm to wear, as you can always stash it in a locker if you don't need it. But from what it looks like, you *will* need it next week.

I wish we could keep this weekend's weather into next week. It's supposed to hit 80 here tomorrow!
