Longing for Disney Survival tips!

I'm curious! I don't have kids to surprise so indulge me on this-which is better, surprising the little angels (!) with a trip or doing all the planning with them-I've read so many reports from people who say their family has planning sessions, where they pick their ADRs and so on, and that sounds like much more fun to me-as I said I'm curious :confused3

Well, we chose to keep this one a secret because all though we have been before this will be my son's first time. I love to see the look on his face when we surprise him with something, it actually makes my trip. Whenever we go somewhere new we surprise him. Next time we go though, I will tell him because I do agree that it is also fun to plan with them. I think both ways are good!

Our first trip will be the end of stinking November! , I couldn't not tell my kids, I literally would have exploded. They are so tired of hearing "Disney this' and "Disney that" and "wait kids, I have new Disney information". I think they will be glad when it gets here just so I will shut up. I too am completely absorbed with Disney. I am only worried that I will learn everything I can, plan, plan, plan, wait, wait, wait, then it will come and be over too fast. I am already jealous when I read someones post who is going later than me because I think about the fact that my trip will already be over, and they still have it to come. I could be crazy, I want it to hurry up and get here, but I don't want it to be over. And its still 7 months away. :confused3

Congrats!!! Have you seen the countdown clocks that you can buy to put in your house? I found one that came blank and used scrapbooking stuff. (disney paper) and a couple of Disney stickers on it..... It is counting down until our vacation and its fun to look at every day (okay, sometimes a couple times a day )

I had never heard of a counddown clock, I will check into that. Thanks!! :goodvibes

I'm going crazy too. I cant wait any longer. My mums going mad too coss its all i talk about Disney Disney Disney all the time. I just think about it constantly. I got 129 days to go.

:thumbsup2 So, I guess I am not the only one who is going crazy waiting either!!!! We have 46 more days to go, and the wait is killing me too! I even had a dream last night about our family being at Disney World! One fun game I got for us to play is the Disney DVD game for the tv. It is really neat! There are all kinds of clips from the Disney movies so it helps with the waiting a little bit! I visit these boards almost every day, sometimes several times a day. There are so many great ideas!!!! I enjoy the planning as much as being at Disney and I think spending all that money for Disney is so worth it! It's like being a kid again!!!

Here is the site... I did the "create your own" and went to our craft store and got puffy mickey stickers..

http://countdowntime.com/

*I also bought a couple and put them away for christmas for my neices/nephews.. Got scrapbooking paper at the craft store of disney, palm trees (for another vacation), back to school, christmas, birthday ..etc.. And cut it out to fit in the clock so they can use the clocks for other things too!

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack this thread... We still have 139 more days, there is nothing left to plan!! bummer...

Gosh - it gets worse as it gets closer. I know my trip is 15 days away, but it seems like 3 days have passed, yet it's only been 30 mins and I'm still sitting here at work. I've watched every single planning video - planned every aspect of my trip that I can possibly plan - gone over everything a million times with my g/f - checked my bank account 600 times to make sure that everything is okay with my money - gone through every article available at TGM (even the ones that don't apply to me) Yet, it doesn't get much closer.....Someone help me!! hehehehe, I'm sure I'll find something else to make the time go faster... right? .... right?....
