Longest wait times in lines?

I hear Soarin' had a 240 minute wait time on New Year's Eve.

During April shool vacations I have waited over an hour and a half many times. Now with children, I have been lucky enough to able to go at less busy times. I refuse to wait longer than 30 minutes for a ride. I know my time is limited to go at less busy times as it will be harder to take DD's out of school as they get older. So i guess I will enjoy it now while I can and then I will be back waiting over an hour again when we go durign school vacations.

I didn't get in the line, but when I was there in November the line for Peter Pan's Flight was posted as a 100-minute wait. Everything else was 30 minutes or less. Very strange. :confused3

I waited for about 2 hours at each ride one time at Easter. We went on exactly 3 rides after traveling from Canada. We almost gave up but went back 2 days later and had only a fifteen minute wait on average.

We've only gone in the slower seasons of mid-May & late Jan. (we pull the kids out of school) & the longest wait we ever had was about 10-15 min. for Winnie the Pooh.

Other than that,...our waits have only been 5 minutes.

I had the same thing happen w/the Peter Pan ride when we went in April/May last time. The wait was 45 min. but other rides were 15 min at the most.

I've waited 2hrs for Splash (but only because the wait time said 40 mins). That was unusual as the times are pretty spot on. I've seen Space Mountain & Soarin' over 100 mins. They are usually the worst. Peter Pan does get crowded though. This is funny to me, because when I was a kid it was always about the same as Snow White, Small World & Mr. Toad.

The longest was about 40 minutes at Disneyland's Matterhorn one July many MANY years ago! I am way too impatient to wait so that was really long for me!

Last year during our first WDW trip I subscribed to TGM and the longest wait was under just around 10 minutes using TGM and about 20 minutes going against TGM advice waiting for Maelstrom without a FP!

We were at MK on NYD 1996..2 hours for EVERY major ride in the pouring rain! (this was pre-fastpass)

I am hoping Oct. is much less busy. Anyone have experience w/ Oct. waits?

We are staying onsite, so can take advatage of EMHs...I've heard to avoid the parks with these. Is it best to do the AM EMH but head to another park after noon? And avoid park w/ EMH during the day, but then go to the evening EMH? (Can you tell I'm confused??!!)

Are EPCOT rides busier during F&WF?

Hi
We always use the Fastpasses. They are included with your price of admission, it does not cost extra as some people believe. We use the wait time to see less popular attractions, eat or enjoy the magic.

I think the longest we ever waited was 25 minutes. This was in June when it was crowded. Go early and use Fastpass. Eat at off times.

Enjoy your trip!

Thanks for the info. We are going june 4 to june 7...I've been trying to understand these plans, sounds like you are running all over the park back and forth..

KKB, during October you can walk on to nearly every ride with hardly a wait during the week and then just a short wait on weekends. That's a great time to go.

I can confirm 240 minutes at Soarin' on New Year's Eve. No way did I wait for that. That ride consistently has the longest wait times. Test Track is bad too.

Before FP we waited 2 1/2 hours for Splash on July 5.....needless to say, we don't do that anymore.
