I've only been home two weeks since out first WDW trip in my life and it has felt like the longest two weeks of my life! I want to go again! So now the question is how to convince my DH to attend MNSSHP 2011.

First and foremost, we had such fun! I meticulously planned and organized for 5 months so that we would have a stress-free, spontaneous WDW vacation;). None of us were really sure of what to think since none of us had an idea of just how big it all is. I honestly wasn't sure we'd make it past check-in. As we walked through the parking lot of Pop Century, an older gentleman was so bent on getting to the pool that he nearly ran us over when we were getting out of the car AND going back to the car.

We headed to DTD after check-in to "dip our toe in the pool". Lots of stuff to see there and I have a mental note to try to eat at the TRex next time.

I'm not sure how coherently I can report on our 7 day adventure, but I think one of the countless high points was our very first character autograph at DHS, Piglet! My 11yr old jumped up and down like Tigger with his tail on fire. My youngest? Not too sure about this character thing at first. Call it "FOC" : "Fear of Characters", a topic revisited later in the trip.

Loved this pic of the girls watching Indiana Jones....the reflection of the orange flame on their faces is priceless!

On the next episode of "The Longest Two Weeks".....

Wow, what is that smell?
Welcome to Animal Kingdom!

I'm in! Loved the expressions on your girls faces.

Their reactions to what they saw/experienced throughout the trip was so entertaining! These clips say it all.

I asked my DD if she was excited to ride Toy Story Mania.....

Clearly, that was a ridiculous question.

So our first full day in "the World" was already a day of many milestones…autographs, Tower of Terror, Rock n Roller Coaster, Toy Story Mania…

We originally wanted to stay at FW in our Airstream, but it was nowhere near ready for this first trip. (2011? crossing fingers!) Instead we headed over to FW for a visit with other AS friends and by far the most important event on the list…B-U-F-F-E-T!

Our second day took us to Animal Kingdom Part One. Personally, knowing my kids as the outside in nature, pick up any/every bug you find, "why can't I fill my pockets with WDW acorns?" kids that they are, I planned two days for this park.

AK is by far mine and DH's favorite park. The Tree of Life was amazing. Now at first, the concept of following people carrying a rope first thing at open really seemed ridiculous to the girls since we couldn't convince either one to ride Everest after the "failure to launch" at The Tower of Terror the previous day. DH and I rode Everest 4 times. DD was a part of the "Flights" show. With two days planned at AK, we took our time and never rushed anywhere, which made for a more Zen-like experience than some of other guests we saw. And to top it off, we ate the Yak & Yeti....tempura shrimp, skirt steak, mango pie, pineapple & wontons.....yum! Went back to the room at close for an early evening. We had a LONG day ahead in the morning.....breakfast in MK and MNSSHP on Halloween Night! (Or as I call it "what was I thinking?")

Exciting..I am in to read all about your trip..love the facial expressions:)
