I know it bothers a lot of people but personally, I find it fun. :lmao: There's so many fine details you can notice when you get stuck on a ride.

We got stuck on Splash Mountain last July for 45 minutes and it was one of the funnest times of our vacation. We got stuck right near the exit, where Zip a Dee Doo Dah starts playing. For the first 5 minutes we kept getting other boats crashing into us which was annoying but other than that it was fun. We saw all the little details on Brer Rabbit and the scene around him, people started fun chants and we had a blast.

Anyone else like getting stuck?

We got stuck on Spaceship Earth once for about 25 minutes. It wasn't fun at all. We were in the dark room with all the points of light above you going backwards. Boring!

Other than that, I've been stuck on Buzz and Toy Story Mania for about 15 minutes at various times. That was fun because you can still shoot stuff (Buzz keeps adding up points but TSM didn't)

Do I like getting stuck? Not particularly. But it was interesting getting stuck on Pirates for over 30 minutes. The unloading ramp broke down and the water stopped flowing. They turned on all of the lights and used hooks to bring our boats up to drop off spots. We got out in the scene where the pirates were bidding on the ladies. The exit took us out of the park and we re-entered after a 10 min walk through a hidden gate elsewhere in Adventureland.

I LOVE getting stuck! It allows me time to take in all of the little details that I may miss otherwise. :)

We got stuck on Splash 2 weeks ago. While it was only for 5 minutes, it was anything but fun.

This was about 10:00 at night on an EMH night. The temp was in the mid 50s. We got stuck just where you see another boat come down the big hill. This is where the water cannon shoot. This normally misses the boat but makes you think your going to get it. Well we were stuck right in line with the water cannon. After getting hit with it 4-5 times then having to deal the rest of the night in 50 degree Florida was not a great evening.

I wanted to strangle Al Gore and his Global Warming. This is Florida, it is not supposed to be that freakin cold.

2 hours on Splash. We were the last log out due to our unfortunate location. It was awful.

2 hrs and 15 minutes of hell!!! :scared1:

I was six years old and we were on the Peter Pan flight. My mother was screaming at my father the whole time (like it was his fault!) ;but the worst part was that we were hanging over the alligator whose mouth was wide open just waiting to eat me if we needed to jump!:scared1::scared1::scared1:

To this day, I'm still afraid of the alligator!

It wasn't real long but we were closed in Mission Space for about 10-15 minutes before the ride started. DW was starting to get nervous :scared: in such a cramped area. The kids and I "talked" to Mission Control and played with all the buttons to keep her distracted. I don't think that she's gone on since then.

I got stuck on the Universe of Energy before it was known as Ellen's Energy Adventure. The attraction was fairly new and they were having difficulties with the moving theater seats/traveling cars. The ride broke down about half way through and after waiting about 15-20 minutes or so they had all of us get out and walk out through the closest emergency exit.

I wouldn't mind getting stuck on some rides but I got stuck (single rider) in the tunnel before the exit area at the end of Rock n' Roller Coaster for like 15 minutes. The CM at the loading area pushed my seat down another notch so I couldn't breath all the way in without my shoulders hitting the top of the harness so I was freaking out. Not being able to breath well (I have athsma too but that wasn't the cause of this) for 10-15 minutes in a dark tunnel with no CM coming out to us was NOT fun. The fact I was sitting next to a stranger who didn't seem to want to talk didn't help. I refused to get back on Rock n' Roller Coaster for the rest of our trip (2 more days) because I was worried about it happening again.

edit: We've been stuck on rides for longer, just this is my best remembered one. My parents actually got stuck on Mission Space soon after it opened for about 15 minutes and it was all black and they could hardly move. Luckily I too worried to get on due to being somewhat claustrophobic (my mother is as well but my father talked her to get on) and was sitting outside talking to a CM the entire time.

Oh, I don't think that it is supposed to miss you. You've just gotten lucky in the past. We almost always get hit by it. I guess the Disney Gods thought you had missed out on being splashed in the past and wanted to make up for it! Sorry it was so cold though. That could have been great on a hot sunny day!

It's a small world right at the exit for what seemed like an eternity!:scared:! If I didn't have a kid with me I would have climbed on the front of the boat and jumped for it :lmao::rotfl2:

I don't know how long it was as I was trying to not go insane.

The most memorable I can think of is spaceship earth. We were stuck for a long while, in the dark, hanging in an awkward position on the way down. :upsidedow That was unnerving.

Usually though, I like delays because I can take in all the details I woud normally miss. I even like getting stuck in IASW! :thumbsup2

I was stuck on Kali for about an hour....they had to "drain" the river so we could all get out of our rafts!

It was alittle stressful because we were on line for about an hour (soft opening - no FP) and my mom was waiting for us with my DS who was 18 mos. old at the time (he's 14 now:scared1: now I feel old)...I was stressed being away for so long (it's funny how we forget that our own mom's managed to raise us ;))

An even funnier ending was that they gave us a Mickey ice cream bar for our trouble....which my dad did not find appropriate and he complained about it all the way back to the bench we had left my mom on.

Once we got to the bench, he's telling her all about how angry he is and she says, "oh you got a mickey pop....thanks!" and she grabs it from him and starts munching away!

We were all laughing at this point  And I realized that this is what vacation was all about....not the number of rides you go on or how you manage to snag the front of the line at a parade....but the memories you have of the fun with your family and how it makes us all closer together

Weve been stuck for 20 minutes on Spaceship Earth in the FIRE SCENE :headache:. So yea once we were moving again we smelled like we had been out camping, lol. It was a cool exprience despite the smell, as we had plenty of time to look around at all the detail.

DD and I were stuck on Horizons for about 15 minutes. We didn't mind at all because we knew Horizons was scheduled to be torn down and it was, literally, the last time we would ever be on that ride.

we were stuck on the people mover inside space mt for an hour...they had to come and walk us out of there and down the stairs..not fun at the time but something the kids always bring up as a "remember when"

We were stuck on Test Track, outside on the fully banked portion of the track, hanging sideways for 20 minutes.
