Why do posters feel the need to let you know that their post is long? I'll see how long it is when I open the thread. Is there a rule I don't know about?

Some people hate long posts and say that as a courtesy.

Also spoilers!!! I find that some people here get huffy when you tell them to please post "spoiler" on your thread.

Instead of being nice about it they say, well you should have not open the thread.

Courtesy is dead....but some still remains.

Well...that's like people saying they are going to WDW for Christmas but they really aren't. They're going December 1-6 or some other non-Christmas date. And another thing that annoys me is when someone is so spoiled that they are worried that they won't like GF CL or some other expensive hoity toity deluxe resort.

The "only want people to agree with me" threads are always my favorite! This way all you (general) meanies would know not to respond.

I don't mind long posts as there's usually a story behind the post. What does drive me crazy, however, is lack of punctuation and/or paragraphs in said long posts!
