Long term parking at EWR

Trying to save and skip car service to Newark. Flying out of Newark at 10:10 on Tues 8/19. Have not used the LT park in some time. Is is usually available or does it fill up? If so we will need a offsite back up plan in case.

We park at Vista. Pretty sure it's $11/day with the internet coupon. Gated with 24 hour security. Valet parking, and shuttle by request.

We've used it several times now, and plan on using it again for our trip next month.

As a matter of fact, it appears to be across the street from the airport's LT parking (entry via the Howard Johnson driveway). But, we like the 24 hour security (the lot is fenced in and patrolled) and the fact that the shuttle is by request. They help you with your bags, etc. When you return, you call them as soon as you have your bags, and they tell you where to meet the shuttle. Never waited more than 5 minutes. Tell the truth, we probably wouldn't leave our car in the airport's LT parking, but that's just us. YMMV.

We JUST used the long term parking this past week! We parked in P6 and it was 15 dollars a day! It was over 2 miles from the airport. We were very lucky to get a bus as soon as we found spot - it was packed though. We also were very fortunate to get a bus right when we left too. We usually fly out of Philly and it took dh 45 min to park the car and get back to the airport on their bus. I think I am going to start using the private lots too. Give us a report when you get back!
