Long overdue march 2010 last minute honeymoon (first timers)

Hey there everyone! This is my first ever trip report and first time to Disney World! Not to sure I know what I'm doing but here goes nothing. oh yea i apologize in advance is i misspell anything.

I guess I'll start with introductions there me christina, I'm 24 i've had custody of my 2 brothers and sister since i was 17 when my dad passed away. one of my brother is 19 now so he doesn't really need me anymore, other bro is 14. my sister is 22 she has a chromosome disorder and has been in special education classes her whole life and she will be graduating this june

And theres my DH jon, he does not like anything disney! he thinks hes big and tuff but hes really just snuggly. He's a chef at Guadalajara Grill in downtown San antonio.

Well we were enganged for five years and we were finally married! It took me a whole year to plan everything my orignal budget was 5,000 i ended up spendaing about 13,00 including our honeymoon. we had paid off everything for the wedding and it was about a month away when Jon got his income tax. Then he tells me we can go to disney! what! i couldn't believe it! I have been to Disneyland more times then i could count. I use to live out in cali before i moved to texas when i was 13. I never thought i would be able to go to disney world in my life! Since it was last minite i had no idea what i was doing! If only i could have know what i know now (thanx to DIS). I went online and chose a resort, we went with Caribbean beach. The plan was to leave 2 days after the wedding which was march 14th. It was my DH first flying he was so excited.

The wedding was very chaotic! I was over an hour late, my hair was not the way i wanted it!! AAAHHH BRIDEZILLA!! it was still a perfect wedding and a perfect day. we had our ceremony on th eriverwalk downtown. there were so many people! theres only standing room for about 15 people and about 90 showed up!

March 16th first day of our trip!
We got up at about 5:30, i don't think our flight left until 10:00. we got there way earlier then we needed to, but that was ok we didn't want to have to rush. We grabbed some McDonalds while we were waiting. Jon was really nervous about flying. I told him everything was fine that he'll love it.

i regret not taking more pictures on this trip, but we didn't have the memory card space. next time i will be more prepared.
the flight was really fast. There was some turberlance that freaked jon out but didn't last long.

All we had were carry on so we went straight to the car rental and picked our car by this time was about 1:00pm. We found a store and bought water and BEER and other snacks to take to the hotel, we were also on the DDP but knew we still were gonna eat more.
Before i knew it we were there! i didn't take any pics of the big sign coming in i was to excited!I didn't know what to expect. we pulled up to the lobby to checkin. we did online check in but it seemed like we waited in long for a long time. no biggie i was so happy to be there

After waiting we got our room number, #1161 inbarbados. it was really far from the food court that was ok since we had a car. We had a water view and it was very nice. the room was finding nemo themed, which was really cute. the place did smell a little bit but it didn't really bother me.

We were in the room for very long. we changed and took off to the parks.

by the time we got there it was about 3:00pm

I was trying to take my time and soke it that i was at disney world, but i wanted to go everywhere! I thought i had a small plan on how i was going to work my way around the parks, but that went out the window as soon as we walked through that gate.
The first ride we went on was tower of terror

we only waited abut 30 minutes

this really was an awsome ride!
Next we went to the Aerosmith ridethe line was really long we were about to take off and come back later when one of the CMs saw our honeymoon pin and gave us a fastpass!we only had to wait like 15 minutes

After we got off i was starving we hadn't eatin since about 6:30 and it was about 4:30 by now we ate at the nearest spot next to rockin roller coaster, we both used our CS credit for pizza and a cake i think. if i were to jhad know about the other dinning options i probaly would ahve eaten somewhere else. i bought some cute ears, we rode the movie ride, it was cute i like the alien part, we walked about a bit.

We were goin to ride toy story but the line was way to long almost 2 hours, we figured we'll come back later.

we head over towards to star tours but stopped off at the muppet show first. I thought it was better when i was younger at Disneyland.

we walked about the honey i shrunk the kids pay area but there was a lot of kids

We stopped at the 50s cafe and got a drink from the bar, it was really crowded and took a little while before the bartender could get to us. it was very cute in there but kinda creeped me out though it reminded me of my grandmas house. jon ordered a beer, I ordered a long island ice tea. It was yummy but could have been stronger. The Indy show happen already started and it was the last showing, the lady would let us in so we went through the exit and watched the few minutes of it while we had our drink.

anyways, where was I? oh yea we just left the Indy show and like and like a dummy I thought I had to use up the dinning credit each night, so we went to Sci-fi.I wasn't even hungry. It was 9:00pm we didn't see fantasmic! because the line was way to long. we waited for a table and after about 30 minutes we were seated. I didn't really do any research before this trip so i didn't know what it looked like inside. i loved it! I think it was my favorite meal our whole trip

Jon ordered the steak and chocalate cake, i ordered the ribs and apple crisp. The ribs were good, jon said his steak was ok. his cake was yummy mine not so much. we had a couple mix drinks but don't remember what we had.

After dinner the park was closing so we went back to the hotel had some beers and walked around the resort. its very nice and quit at night. we did keep hearing music and didn't know where it was coming from. we found out later that it was a pool bar
we went to bed about 1:00am
