Long Distance Telephone

I'm tired of paying Sprint for long distance service on my home phone. We use our cell phones to make all our long distance calls. And now, I get a message from Sprint telling me that they are raising the cost for me to not make any long distance calls. Right now it's about $9 a month for nothing. And it's going up another dollar or so. I can really make use of that $120 a year.

Well, I've been trying to fire them tonight and cannot get through their automated system. You can't send them an e-mail. ARGGGGH!

So I tried calling Bell South (my local service and how I pay my long distance bill). They weren't much better.

I guess I'll have to try again tomorrow morning.

Can't say I blame you. I was being charged long distance on the phone at my business. It's a dance studio & no one makes any long distance calls from the phone. I make all my business calls from my home. I finally dropped the long distance & am saving a substantial amount of money per year.

BTW - I have Verizon, not Sprint. I didn't have a problem dropping it through Verizon.

Do be aware that in some places they charge for not having any long-distance service. The last time we had to pay it it was pretty small, like $4.
