Long detailed schedule help for "first timer"

My 2 day Epcot plan splits the park into left and right rather than front and back.

Test Track, Mission Space and World Showcase up to Italy one day

Soarin side of future world and World Showcase up to Japan on the other day.

If we are doing the American Experience we stick it in on whichever day it works out best

Does this look better for our third MK day (Friday, May 12)?
Rope drop to Tomorrowland Speedway
Astro Orbiter
11:00 fastpass for Space Mountain
Carousel of Progress
Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover
12:00 fastpass for Buzz Lightyear
Stitch's Great Escape
Monsters Inc Laugh Floor
(2:00 fastpass for Seven Dwarves Mine Train)
2:00 Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire
3:00 Parade
(8:00pm fastpass for Seven Dwarves Mine Train)
9:00 Fireworks

This looks much better laid out to me. Not sure where you are fitting in lunch, bathrooms, water breaks . . . keep those things in mind, and be willing to skip something if need be. Is stitch going to be open when you are there? I know it is "seasonal" now, but don't know exactly when it is open. Anyhow, this should keep you out of the long lines. You have buzz, stitch, and Monsters (all nice indoor air conditioned attractions) happening mid day in the heat, great plan there. You have the Speedway, and Astro early to take advantage of short lines, and cooler temps (since they are outside). Seven Dwarves late in the day. I would use that plan :)

I might be tempted to wander towards Frontierland after Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire. I find it is generally easy to get a nice spot there for the parade.

Ok, I'm convinced by all the advice to split the park East and West instead of back and front. How do these Epcot days look?

8:30 Rope drop to Frozen Ever After
Character meet Elsa and Anna
10:00 fastpass for Test Track
Advanced training lab
11:00 fastpass for Mission Space
After Mission Space, head to World Showcase. Do Mexico, Norway, China, Germany and Italy. Do American Adventure if we aren't too tired.
Maybe do 12:00 fastpass for Spaceship Earth? Or save it for Epcot day 2?

Saturday, May 6
8:30 Rope drop to Spaceship Earth (or get 9:00 fastpass?)
Project tomorrow
The Seas with Nemo
Turtle Talk with Crush
11:00 fastpass Epcot character spot
12:00 fastpass Soarin
Living with the Land
Circle of Life
Journey into Imagination
Imageworks
Short Film Festival
Then, go to World Showcase: Canada, UK, France, Morocco, Japan, American Adventure (if not on first Epcot day)

We'll definitely go to Illuminations on whichever day seems best that day.

I'm thinking day 2 still seems super long, so many countries still to see after all the Future World West attractions! I'm thinking we'll need a third day in Epcot. Talking to the kids today, they really want to meet characters and there are a lot in World Showcase.

I don't know if anyone has said this yet but the Epcot day that you questioned splitting into 2 days seems perfectly doable in that 1 day. We have and will be doing the ENTIRE park in one day. Granted we don't have a baby in out group but it still looks fine. Only suggestion: SKIP SHORT FILM FEST as it's like 45 minutes long is is literally the exact movie that you can find on netflix/rent at redbox (waste of time).

Oh thanks! Good to know about the short film fest! We've already seen that on Netflix (the Matchstick girl might be the saddest Disney movie ever! Don't think I want to watch that at Disney World and be sobbing like a baby). I'm still thinking of splitting the park back and front but just skipping a couple things in Future World and maybe doing one fastpass attraction (Test Track if I can get it at the right time) on World Showcase day after Frozen and before World Showcase opens.

Alyssa, sounds like you must have skipped the Pixar shorts yourself, because the advice you are giving is simply not accurate.
The Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival is 18 minutes long. It features 3 shorts. "Get a Horse", "La Luna", and "For the Birds" with some great 3D effects.

On Day one, there is a lot more to see and do in World Showcase...Mexico, Anna and Elsa, Frozen, Chinese Acrobats, American Adventure.

Day 2 may take more time in future world, but that's ok, because the countries on that side are less time consuming.

If you have the fastness to spare on Day 1 and aren't in a hurry to get back to World Showcase, I would go ahead and do the fastness for Spaceship Earth on Day 1. You'll be nearby (well, relatively, for a gigantic park) after Mission Space. If you save it for Day 2, you shouldn't need a fastness if you go there at Rope drop or soon after.

This is my first trip to Disney World as an adult. I went as a kid but not since I was about 10 years old and I'm 34 now. I've read a lot but would love it if someone else could take a look at my schedule and tell me what you think.

I'm travelling with my husband and 3 kids, 10 year old son, 6 year old daughter and 16 month old son. We have 10 days of tickets and will be in Orlando for 12 days. We're hoping to see and do everything and not be stressed. My 10 year old doesn't mind doing "little kid" things and my 6 year old is 44" tall. I'm trying to avoid kid meltdowns and feeling like we are rushed all the time. I want to be able to look around and soak in the magic. I also want some downtime at the resort (just off Disney property) to swim and relax. We don't have park hoppers, so just one park per day. I'm staying off site so no fastpasses are booked yet. All fastpass times are just what I hope to get. I know it might not be possible.

Monday, May 1: Arrive at resort in the evening.

Tuesday, May 2: Epcot (World Showcase)
I'll try to get a fastpass for Frozen Ever After but that's probably not possible

Saturday, May 13: 10th day of tickets, flexible day. We could use this for another day at Epcot or we could just leave it open for whatever park we want to go again.

Sunday, May 14, go back home.

If you read all this, thank you! So, what do you think of the plan?

I apologize if I am repeating what someone else has already said, but I would not rope drop Enchanted Tales with Belle. It is a pretty long attraction, and while you are in there, lines will be building elsewhere. I have read on these boards that if you rope drop it, you have to wait a bit to get started because they need enough people there to fill all of the roles. Do you have another fastpass available that day? If so, that would be a good option.

You might consider skipping Ellen's Energy Adventure unless one of the kids is a huge fan of dinosaurs, or you need a 45 minute air conditioned break. It is a very long "ride" and not very exciting in my opinion. However, if a rest is needed, it can be a good way to get a kid to settle down and rest.

That's good to know. I could do a fastpass for Enchanted Tales with Belle later in the day. What's the best ride in Fantasyland to try to rope drop and be done by 9:45am for our breakfast reservation at Be Our Guest?

Given your overall plans for the day, it'd probably be best to rope drop 7DMT, which is right next to Be Our Guest. Then you could FP Peter Pan for 11 a.m. and FP Enchanted Tales for 1 p.m. (which is what I'm showing as the earliest available FP for May 3). That might shuffle some of your other ride plans around, but could still end up working out.

I would RD PP the stand by line is very run. You will not have to worry about being at the front of RD like you would 7DMT. I have gone in and been at the end of RD and just waited 10-15 minutes and had fun in the line, and I have been at the front of RD and had people walk in past me ( I am a slower walker) and by the time I got there the line for 7DMT was 30 minutes, so it get long fast with little ones I would not risk missing it and would try and FP 7DMT

A lot of people have given you good advice, but I wanted to throw out that I wouldn't think anyone over the age of 6 of 7 (if that) would be frightened by HM. Certainly, no run-of-the-mill adult would be scared of it.

I was 5.5 and I think I have post traumatic stress from it, because I literally feel the feelings of fear whenever I ride with my husband. As soon as we board the doombuggy and start to head through the door hallway and you can start to hear the crystal ball lady it kicks in really badly.

Sorry I've been busy all week. I think I would do more of world showcase on day 1 and make it to Morocco and ride the friendship boat back to the front of the world showcase where it meets future world.
