Just booked a long weekend in our wonderful capital. To try and make the cash stretch further I'm going to use some Tesco clubcard vouchers in Maxwells in Covent Garden and Plant Hollywood in Leicester Square. Has anyone been? I'm also going to try to book Rainforest cafe but having looked at their website they do it the Disney way of Priority Seating and its too early to book yet as we're not going till October but it will be a good practise run for our WDW holidays for the following October. :wave2:

We went to Planet Hollywood in Leicester Square last weekend and relly enjoyed it. Only one complaint was that the tables were very close together!!! Also went to Rainforest Cafe and it was really good.

Love Planet Hollywood but we thought Rainforest Cafe had small portions and was well overpriced. Usually love Rainforest Cafe everywhere else.

Have you thought about Hard Rock Cafe? This always seems good value. We saw "We will rock you" a few weeks ago and walked from Tottenham Court Road to Hard Rock Cafe and was well worth the walk.

Have a great time.

DH and I went to Planet Hollywood about a year ago and we walked out before they took our order.
The tables were far too close together and the music was too loud for us to talk!

Rainforest is lovely.

But we always end up in Pizza Hut with a bottle of wine!!

E-mailed Maxwells for their children's menus they've just sent me back to the website when I can only find the main menu! Not looking too promising. Looked up Hard Rock and they've got a fair number of complaints against them. Have now been able to book priority seating at Rainforest, now not sure about Planet Hollywood will just turn up and see as that was going to be our place for dinner on the Saturday and you can't book for Saturdays! I've a feeling we'll end up at Macs again :confused3 Just noticed my spelling for Planet Hollywood as Plant Hollywood (I may try there :rotfl2: )
