Hi everyone,

Tentatively, the date for the trip will be Sept 2nd, 2011. That's the date that ABD has designated for the trip. I want to reiterate that this is tentative pending final contract, but I don't want to sit on any info as I know that there are many of you basing your decision on the dates of the trip.

I'll keep everyone updated as I get more info.

Now, I have to start practicing how to say "Stay out of the damn lakes" and "There's not enough food on my plate" in French.

Shoot, Labor Day is no good for us. Somebody can have our waiting list slots, if those are the dates.

Having been to DLRP a few times, I know you will have a few more rants than that, Pete. :rolleyes1

Date sounds great to me!!! :woohoo:

OK, I've gotta ask, because I'm a relative newbie to this whole Podcast thing: What the heck does "Stay out of the damn lakes" refer to???

Holy wow, guys, have a great time! I'm currently plotting something for DEA's 40th birthday in July 2011. For a minute, I thought, hmmm...delay a couple of months and do this instead? But our budget would run screaming down the street, implode, and slide into a gutter, so perhaps not. Can't wait to hear all the stories from what's undoubtedly going to be an amazing trip!

XO

Oh honey...... I think we need to spend our second anniversary in Paris! :woohoo::hyper:

Someone can have my waiting list spot. I knew would be expensive, but I can't afford this trip :sad1:

I hope everyone has a wonderful time. :woohoo:

Why is it that I think I think we are going to spend our Anniversary with a bunch of our friends?
:woohoo:

Sounds like a wonderful trip...wish I could afford it

September 2 rules me out completely, unfortunately. If it was a week or two later, I would have been all over it.

It sounds AMAZING! I don't think there is any possible way I can work this into our budget but oh don't I wish!

If it's in September- we're out. DH doesn't get new vacation time until Oct 1. He has already allocated all of this year's time (including PCC2.0!)

Fingers croseed for October...

:worship: Keeping my fingers crossed for an October travel date too. Early September really won't work for us. :sad2:

I will be honest that my eyes bugged out a little (okay, allot!) when Bill told me the price of this trip last night ... $6069 per adult = :scared1:

However, when I broke it down with the DLP add-on, we would only be paying $500 more to have the Guides and all the fun backstage and VIP treatment at DLP. After doing the ABD CA Backstage Magic tour, I know that you are treated very "special" when on the ABD tours. Also, with DU behind the scenes trying to plus an already great itinerary, this will be a "priceless" experience. :wizard:

:scared: Not sure yet if we can swing the $$$$$. Bill is trying to work his mathematical wonders ... :teacher:

We'll see ... :surfweb:

Yeah, we'll also keep our fingers crossed for an October trip, along with everyone else in this thread, it seems. :cheer2:
