My 2 year old is singing this all the time. If I have to have it stuck in my head, so do others. :teeth:

It may sound odd for a 47 year old man to admit it but I love my Schoolhouse Rock DVD!

Every now and then while I'm cleaning house or some other household chore I'll pop my Schoolhouse Rock DVD in and set it to random. It sure brings back memories.

Thanks auntie Im. :teeth:

Bill, I love Schoolhouse Rock too. It is my fault entirely that she sings those songs all the time.

How many of us aced the test in 8th grade where you had to write out the Preamble to the Constitution?
We the people
of the United States of America
In order to form a more perfect union
Do ordain and establish this Constitution
For the United States of America.

I love "Im just a bill" and 'conjunction junction'
What is the one with the ice skater -something about the number 8?
Also Interjection! is good too.

I can still to this day sing the ENTIRE preamble to the Consitution because of School House Rock! Every once in a while I'll bust it out just to impress my DH and kids! :thumbsup2

Figure Eight is my favorite!
You know, I don't think I saw these often enough as a child to memorize them.

Figure eight as double four,
Figure four as half of eight.
If you skate, you would be great
If you could make a figure eight.
That's a circle that turns 'round upon itself.

One times eight is two times four.
Four times four is two times eight.
If you skate upon thin ice,
You'd be wise if you looked twice
Before you made another single move.

One times eight is eight, two times eight is 16,
Three times eight is 24, four times eight is 32,
And five times eight is 40, you know.

Six times eight is 48, seven times eight is 56,
Eight times eight is 64, nine times eight is 72,
And ten times eight is 80, that's true.

Eleven times eight is 88, and twelve times eight is 96.
Now, here's a chance to get off
On your new math tricks.
'Cause twelve times eight is the same as
Ten times eight plus two times eight
80 plus 16 ... ninety-six!

One times eight is eight, two times eight is 16,
Three times eight is 24, four times eight is 32,
And five times eight is 40, you know.

Figure eight as double four,
Figure four as half of eight.
If you skate, you would be great,
If you could make a figure eight.
That's a circle that turns 'round upon itself.

Place it on its side and it's a symbol meaning
Infinity...

All I can say is ................................ LOLLY -----GAG :crazy2:

J/K---I'm a teacher at heart and love these!!! Just couldn't resist the play on words!! :smooth:

I love schoolhouse rock! I especially love my schoolhouse rock rocks cd...

conjunction junction is my favorite...

Out of the frying pan and into the fire.
He cut loose the sandbags,
But the balloon wouldn't go any higher.
Let's go up to the mountains,
Or down to the sea.
You should always say "thank you",
Or at least say "please".

:thumbsup2

but what about rufus xavier sarsaparilla?

or busy prepositions?

hmm...I'm bad with grammar but I love grammar rock!?!

:sad2: I knew this would happen. She has completely lost it.

OMG...our entire 8th grade class passed the Constitution test thanks to School House Rock! You could hear people humming the song throughout the library, it was hysterical!
I loved the one that went

A man and a woman had a little baby, yes they did, there were three in the family, three, thats the perfect number...

Of course, it doesn't hurt that DH and I have an only child so the song fits us perfectly! :p

God that was stuck in my head all of softball practice!
