I'm glad you posted it here -- I don't know how to get one to the front page of the site, either. Anyone else who has made their own lolcat featuring their crazy kitties (which is redundant, I know ), I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to see it!!

I feel for ya. I've got close to 275lbs of dog here and one cat. I get close to 70 pounds of dog food every 10 days and about $50 worth of chew-bones each week! Plus the sub.Q and special diet food for the cat

Well, yelling and screaming for food (even at 3am) must mean she's still has pretty good quality of life. And that's a good thing. For her. For you? Maybe not so much.

SubQ's are under the skin injection of fluids with an IV needle. Remember the jokes about giving a cat a pill? That's NOTHING compared to trying to do SubQ's to a cat by yourself.

I don't envy you that!

My in-laws have a 16 year old diabetic cat. FIL (84 years old) has given that cat insulin injections twice a day by himself for years as MIL is in no shape to help. I know that is not as involved as SubQ's but still no fun.

Hang in there, Herc. Your kitty is very lucky to have you.
