Lola is not a dog, she is a chicken!!!

Last night, Jim and I went for a walk with our Havanese, Lola. Around the corner a little bunny raced across a lawn and stopped on the sidewalk about 20 feet in front of us. I thought Lola might bark, but she doesn't usually bark at small dogs/animals. She stopped dead and didn't move. When the bunny ran across the road, Lola turned and hightailed it for home! What a chicken! We had to make her turn and continue the walk, and we tried really hard not to laugh at her.

She forgot about it in a couple of minutes, but she did want to run and not heel.

Our Dog is human - so he thinks ...He has claimed his own sofa in our living room. No one else can sit there!!!!

Lola has some very human poses. Like sitting on the edge of the sofa with her chin on the armrest watching TV. We get on the floor with her on our knees with our heads down, hands covering our face and she will "scratch at" our hair. Jim and I did it the other night and she wasn't doing anything, so I peeked up and she had her head down with her paws over it!! It was the cutest thing!! She may be a chicken, but she is cute and has LOTS of personality!

We got our dog the bandana from WDW saying "MY HUMAN WENT TO wdw AND ALL I GOT WAS THIS STUPID BANDANA"

Lol CC. Our Dodie is a chicken also. She wiill bark at a other dogs when we walk her, but if the dog turns to look at her and gives her a woof back, Dodie runs between Chucks legs! When someone walks past our house she runs to the door and barks like a watch dog, but if they come toward the door, she runs into the bedroom and under the bed! LOL!

LOL CC! My dog, Denny, is part dog, part human, and part chicken also. Denny is a black lab/husky mix, so he's a big dog. He has no problems chasing squirrels, cats, or other small animals. However, my brother has a collection of antique car figurines (none more than 4 inches tall by 6 inches wide), and Denny is scared to death of these. My brother will set one on the floor next to Denny, and Denny will jump up and run away like he's seen a ghost. He likes to intimidate small animals, but small toys scare the bejeebes out of him!
