The Mickey Lotion from the Disney store smells like Soarin' according to my daughter. I just love the smell of the lotion.

The Mickey Lotion from the Disney store smells like Soarin' according to my daughter. I just love the smell of the lotion.

Too funny! We have this Orange Oil stuff at work to clean with and it smells like the orange grove on Soarin'....gotta love it.

I would go get that salt in a *heartbeat* if the closest Trader Joe's wasn't three states away. That is mine and DS's favorite smell in all of WDW... Does this stuff really smell like Rome burning?? Stupid TJ's - build some more stores!!

It REALLY does. Seriously. We got a smoked pepper something grinder from there that smelled kinda like it (enough that we decided to buy it this summer ) and then found this on Sunday and my husband and I both smelled it, looked at each other, and BUSTED out laughing in amazement!

Hubby is so great. He's always like "ok, close your eyes!!" and then will waft the salt in front of my nose. We need to do that while we listen to Dame Judy!

Ok, we're all nuts.

Oh we love the smell of Rome burning!

This summer DH had to replace some kind of rubber ring in one of our toilet tanks. The ring smelled really smoky --- just like Rome in SE! DH & I kept taking turns smelling it before he installed it. I joked that I should go buy another one just to have so we could get a whiff of SE whenever we wanted.

So how do I own this exact Smoked Sea Salt from Trader Joe's and never know it smelled like my favorite scene in SE?????

I ran into the kitchen after reading this thread and smelled.....exactly like the ride!! Thank you! I think I will be smelling it quite often from now on.

I'm literally constantly on the lookout for a smell similar to the Ocean smell on Soarin. It's my absolute favorite smell from the rides. I've found a close smell with one of the scents from Bath and Body but it's still not right.

I think Disney should sell scent boxes of their most popular ride smells. I would be all over that. I think they would be popular!

I was helping my parents put a new liner in their chimney a few weeks ago and I got all excited like a little kid and kept saying, "It smells just like SSE." It wasn't a regular smoky smell, it was the exact smell from the ride. My parents thought it was hilarious, and I had to have each of my kids come in and sniff it and each one independently said, "That smells just like SSE. I feel like I'm at Disney."


Whenever we smell a skunk while driving the kids say "eww" but DH inhales deeply and says, "I love it. It makes me feel like I'm at Epcot"
