Has anyone else noticed that there are members of the cast of AK's Tarzan that are in Pleasure Islands Calliente sp? band that plays on the main stage? There is one girl who I think looks like Carla on scrubs who is one of the girl singers and the one guy with dark hair who plays the guitar. It was soooo odd to see them singing/playing something other then the Tarzan songs i'm used to.

No, but once we enjoyed the show at the Diamond Horseshoe in the Magic Kingdom and realized the next night that the saloon owner was also a member in very good standing at the Adventurer's Club!

this was at Universal not WDW but we saw the guy that was one of the host s for the makeup show on stilts handing out beads at City Walk one night.

Not strange at all, many of the "acting" members have other "roles" to play at different times/parks. At AK, we saw several from The Lion King on the floats during the parade. We just got back from Branson and at Celebration City there was a free roaming character named Normal and my kids interacted with him and thought he was pretty cool. The next day we went to Silver Dollar City and you know those guys who always stop you and take your picture, well guess who it was? Normal, of course his name tag said something else. At first he denied that he was Normal, which I thought was kinda funny, but then said that he was and the kids had a good laugh.

Point being that I have seen this many places and I am sure if we really looked we might notice more "double agents" in the World.

Ever wonder what Tinkerbell does when she's not flying down the wire from the castle? During the day, one Tinkerbell has been the choreographer for one of the performing groups.

I think I've seen one of the fire dancers from the Poly Luau show in the Lion King show, doing pretty much the same fire dance type of routine.

Has anyone else ever wished that had so much diversity in their jobs? :rotfl: So much for getting bored.

The one time we went into Goofy's saloon show (whatever the name is...) the cowgirl who sings and dances was the redhead at Hoop Dee Doo a year or so prior. At first I though - cool promotion to be the only "human" in this show, then after seeing it, I thought - woah, what a demotion from HDD which is a great classic to such a poopie show as Goofy's.

One of the street skit characters at MGM was a 'Soap Sister' at Super Soap Weekend. When I asked her about it, she tried to deny it, but finally fessed up.

Back in 1997, I was staying at The Contemporary with my family. My sister and I were playing games in the arcade really late one night, and the guy working behind the prize counter told us he sometimes played Quasimodo in the Hunchback show at MGM. He told us that the performers had to rotate between menial jobs such as the arcade in between stints in the shows. Does anyone know if this is actually true? He did sing a piece of "Out There" for us, and he was pretty good! :)
