LOL - email I got from DH...

I give my husband a list every year. He buys me everything on the list even though I say that they are just suggestions. He whines and moans about shopping, goes at the last minute, then comes home on a euphoric high and says how easy I am to shop for.
This happens every year......

DH was telling me last night that it was so easy to shop for me this year. He had just finished wrapping all of my presents and he wanted me to guess what they were. I ran through about 10 things I wanted and each time DH's face fell...apparently he didn't think of any of those things which were items I have asked for in the past few months. He told me that he thinks I will like what I got but my ideas were better! :rotfl: He said he thinks he should unwrap and return everything and start all over again. Poor guy... :)

My SO went shopping last night and even wrapped everything before I got home. 2 minutes after I got home he was begging me to open the gifts because he couldn't wait to give them to me...I told him he could wait a few days, afterall his presents that I am giving to him have been bought and wrapped a month ago!!

When my DH says I have a plan, it strikes FEAR in my heart.

I work close to the trumbull mall, so i'll run over there on my lunch hour.
Don't go to danbury too often...kinda a haul for me...I like West Farms best personally. :)

I haven't been to West Farms in forever!

I can tell my DH EXACTLY what I want 50 times. I can drag him to it in the store. I can scream it over and over.

The only one who remembers any of it is DS. DH is generally clueless.

ya know what I really want for christmas? My car washed...seriously - it's FILTHY...maybe i can convince him to take it to his firehouse and wash it for me tonight while I bake cookies. heheheh

LOL, I would love my car washed, but since he was off this week he cleaned the house and it is spotless so I guess I can't ask for him to do my car too.

The other night we were in the mall and we were behind this father and his 2 daughters and they must have been shopping for the mom. The father asked the girls if they had any ideas what to get her. They both said no, do you? They looked so lost. My husband said that will be him in a few years LOL

My brother used to live near the Trumbell mall. They lived in Monroe.

I posted about my DH a few days ago by whining about knowing I would not be getting things I actually wanted for Christmas. In the meantime, his work sched has been so out of control that we have hardly seen him around here and I know no way has he had time to shop--he's not even taking a lunch break. So, last night, I said, "Okay, here is what we will do. You give me a list of the ideas you have for presents for me, I will go buy them." He didn't like that solution, so came up with a new one. He is having his mom shop for me and then bring the gifts on Christmas eve when she comes. This could be interesting.

My dad and 2 of his friends make an annual shopping trip for their wives. One of the wives actually makes out a list with exact specifications and pictures that she's cut out of catalogs. This year one of them chose orange wrapping paper - "why orange, it's not very Christmasy?" my dad asked. "It's bright" was the reply he got - I guess that's why his wife makes him a list - lol!

Ok - so I asked DH last night if he was all done christmas shopping...he said "almost"...

Well who do you still have to buy for?
You.
heheh..ok...

I left him a note today explaining that my 2 favorite stores are Sephora and Target...and that I needed my car washed.

*brushes hands together*...there I helped him...he's on his own.
December 23rd...heheheheh

Sounds like my DH. Last year, ON my birthday, he called from work asking if I wanted that "dumb chest" I was looking at. It was a sideboard for the dining room, but same difference. I told him since I only told him about 20 times he could get me that for my birthday that YES I want it. He then says, "why don't you go to the store and pick it up" :confused3 . Ok, honey.

This sounds exactly my DH. I wonder if the two are related?

You forgot your other favorite store....Coach. ;) As just punishment for waiting until the last minute, he owes you a large Coach bag, don't you think? :rotfl:

D'OH!!
Ya know...i didn't spend THAT much on his gifts this year....

My birthday is in January anyway...and I got the Coach catalog in the mail yesterday...already have my eye on a bag that isn't available until February. (hmm...Valentine's day...)

hehehe

I did go shopping with DH last night for MY present..I wanted Nike Shox (that was all that was on my list) and I got them :flower: ..I tried them on walked around..they are ugly but they feel great oh and on sale!

So they got purchased..I made Corey  carry the bag. And I stopped at the new Gap store for adults (almost lost him there)...really like the new adult gap!

I don't think he is done yet, but we are on a budget (severe one) this year, so I shouldn't tease him...I know him and he never goes overboard with gifts (very responsible) but I think he secretly wants to.

I was hinting very strongly that I wanted a Mickey watch

I hope you like your new tennis shoes-I don't know what you are going to use them for, but they really hurt your feet if you exercise in them. They are okay to walk in, but that is about it. 2 years ago, they came out with them and the 1st ones were really good, but the new design killed my back. When I took them back to the sporting good store-the salesperson said I wasn't the first one to complain, they had a lot of complaints about the shoe. He gave me a coupon for 1/2 my next shoe purchase.

I would just like to say, there are some really funny posts on this thread this morning.
