because you know you eventually have to come home? :)

We leave for the World Saturday 9/29 but then I get sad when I realize two weeks from tomorrow we'll be back home already! How ridiculous is that?!

Either way, I'm so excited! And I just can't hide it!

Enjoy your weekend and see you in the World!

Sandy :)

That is exactly what I said!!! We leave in 69 days and will be back in…81

We leave tomorrow and you would think I would be going crazy and be excited but I am really depressed. I know once we leave for the airport the great feeling will come back but right now I am just really down. Kind of makes me mad that I am this way because I should be having the time of my life right now.

Phew! Thanks for understanding my point of view! I'm more than thankful that we're going and I really can't wait!

I just can't believe I'm already thinking about having to come back home already!

I hope this is a normal reaction because I too feel the same way. I was making a ressie for a December sleigh ride this morning and scheduled it for the last evening of our trip. I got sad thinking all the fun would be almost over once we finish that sleigh ride and it isn't even December yet!!! :guilty:

Yep, I think that way too. But as soon as we touch down in Orlando, I am just too excited to worry about it :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I just asked my Mom if she's getting excited, and she said yes, but she's sad that it'll go by too fast.

That's why you should always have at least 2 trips planned. We leave tomorrow and will be home in 7 days, but it is less than 4 months until our next trip! We even have tentive plans for next September! :thumbsup2

How true!!! It's really keeps me going!!! No matter how far away, I have to know that there is another vacation coming! :thumbsup2

Our next trip won't be for 5 years though and I have been waiting 4 years for this one. Oh well, better get excited now because we leave for the airport in 5 1/2 hours.

Ah, yes the "I can't wait to go but I know I'll be back too soon" blues. I get them every time. I always say that the weeks or months before the trip is the best time, the most exciting and it is!! It's perfectly normal.

Jeez, I'm glad I'm not alone in this, I thought I was going nutty, but what a way to go. I had posted a thread about a year ago with regards to the dreaded envelope they leave on your door the day of checkout. All during your vacation you see it and feel so sorry for the recipients, yet in the back of your mind you know eventually that will be you. What a kick in the gut check out day is.

Wow I am not the only nut here?
I too was going to post the same thing but I thought it was too crazy. Booked our trip in March and the whole - yay double digits woo hoo- now that I am well into single digits- it is going way too fast for me!

I think coming back from WDW is worse than coming off of a Dead tour! :joker:

sometimes i think the sooner you go,the sooner it is till you come back
we leave in 7 days but in 3 weeks time we will be on our way back,i cant bear to think about it! :sad2:

Yes indeed. While my DH and I are putting our itinerary together (we're planners!) we get so sad when we get to the last day. In fact, if I go through the days too fast my DH says "Slow down, you're making it go by too fast." Sometimes I think we enjoy the planning as much as the actual trip. Nahhhhh.

YES! We just got done going over our Halloween trip schedule and packing list this weekend. Now all that's left to do is wait... and wait... and wait... until it's time to pack! Luckily, we've got another vacation coming up in December (which was our original vacation for this year - the Halloween one is a last minute addition!) So, when we get back from the first trip, we'll have 40 days to go until the second one! BUT, that's where the BIG depression will sink in. After our Christmas vacation, we won't have another WDW trip planned for at least two years! :sad2:
