My kids and I will drive to visit family on a Monday. DH will fly down (one way only) on Wednesday or Thursday. Tell me if I'm thinking this booking through correctly and what I may have missed in terms of discount codes, etc.
I will sign up for ebates and log in to their website to book the hotel on orbitz. Is there an additional discount code that will work here also? And I will pay using the Southwest credit card. The hotel we will use is one I get points on also. How do I make sure my IHG hotel rewards account gets credited with points?
Would I save more if I booked my husband's flight as a package through orbitz also? Or not because it's only one way? I didn't see any option to do a package with only a one way flight.
