Hi everyone. What do most people do who stay at an Epcot resort and go to Epcot before the World Showcase opens? Do people go through the International Gateway and walk to Future World, take the Friendship boat to Future World, take a bus to the main Epcot entrance....?

Thanks for any input!

The friendship boats from the Epcot resorts do not go to Future World. They drop you off outside the International Gateway. There are separate boats that go across the World Showcase lagoon but they don't operate until WS opens. There is no bus to the main Epcot entrance. The best option is to boat or walk to the International Gateway and then walk to Future World. You could walk or boat to DHS and catch an Epcot bus there but that would take longer.

There are no busses to Epcot from the Epcot resorts. Walking or the Friendship boats that take you to the IG are the only ways to get there. If a boat was at the dock we might hop on it but the majority of times we walk to the IG and thru the World Showcase to Future World.

Walk or Friendship to the IG, then walk into Future World. The International showcase is roped off so that you can ONLY get from the IG to FW.

Though I'd be delighted if they ever opted to open the French bakery for breakfast.

We often drive to Epcot when staying at BWV and then go to another park in the afternoon.

Slightly off topic but can you see illuminations from the walk-way? I often wondered this if I was staying at Boardwalk and wanted to see Illuminations on a day I don't have a park ticket.

at the top of bridge you can see some of it. just the higher fireworks.

there are too many trees at Epcot to see the lower one.
