I know how to do this, but lately it doesn't work for me. I was wondering if anyone else has been having trouble or maybe I am using an old link or something? :confused3

Any advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated. :goodvibes

Be more specific as to what trouble you are having. It sometimes takes several tries since the update to get both to log in. Also if one crashes most of the time you can not just reload the page. It is still possible but it definately is more difficult then it used to be in my opinion. With more information someone else may be experiencing the same issue specificly.

I just use two different browsers for each. Firefox for one, IE for the other.:)
Beats having to wait for someone to help out.:) Of course it's works MUCH better on a newer computer. lol

Well, I log in normally on one account. Then I use a link, that I found on this board, to log in the second account. On that account I now get the BSOD. It just never loads. Maybe my link is out of date? :confused3

I don't know how to use any browser other than IE but maybe that is what I need to do?

Thanks for trying to help!

I normally use IE for one character, Firefox for another. Firefox is a reliable, free browser you can download.

I will say though, as of tonight, I have had all kinds of problems logging in, with firefox i get BSOD, with IE i can log in but cannot enter any rooms. At least one other person on these boards is having the same problem. So if your problem just started tonight, it may not be you or your link, it may be a VMK issue.

Thanks for posting about Firefox. Maybe I'll try that. We have been using VMKPal and it has worked great so far. I tried pulling up an IE window and a Microsoft window and it won't work either.

I haven't tried logging on with two characters in a couple of days, but it does seem to have been more difficult lately than in the past.

When I do it, I use either 1 IE and a VMKPal or two VMKPals. Sometimes one method works better than the other, though I haven't found a pattern. One thing I know for sure though is you have to let your first character get fully logged in, and I mean all the way into a room (any room), before you attempt the 2nd character log on. Otherwise I get an error in the authorization or some such.

I'd planned to log on w/me and my mule later today so give him some cowboy clothes to hold. I'll let you know how it goes...

I only have Firefox on my computer. Once you push the play now button, right click on one of the links on the bottom of the popup. Push open link in new tab and click on the tab. Then you can open another login window. X out the tab after that. That's the only way I know of to play with two characters.

I used to do the same. It works really well. However, I haven't logged on to two accounts at all since I uninstalled VMK Pal. If you still have VMK Pal, this is good advice.
