I have read the difference in what comes with each. I am not sure about location? I have never been to BLizzard beach. We plan to go in Aug so I know it will be packed.
I am not sure we will spend much time at either? I am not sure which is the better fit for us?
We will be 4 total. 4 year old and 8 year old.
Can you get towels at BB?
Any experience with either? Thanks!

Well, both options include towels - so it's up to you to determine which features you're willing to pay for.

We did the polar patio for 8 of us in August and really enjoyed it.
Next week were doing the umbrella. Two sets of them for four of us. I think for four people the patio is overkill. We just want a "homebase" and a towel...

We have done both (umbrella 3x and patio once) and while I loved the patio the umbrellas are great and probably what we will continue to reserve in the future. We had two for 6 of us and it was more than enough room. We really didn't need all the extras that come with the patio - mugs and water and wait staff but it was cool to do once!

If available request the sandy area by the wave pool - there are only a few umbrellas there so they fill up fast. The others are nice as well, just past the lunch place but nice and quiet and easy access to he park via the lazy river.

Both supply you with towels - the patio wait staff will replace them for you if they are wet or dirty and you can exchange them for clean ones yourself renting the umbrellas.

Thanks for all the helpful information, I was thinking for the four of us the patio would be overkill. If my parents were comming or if I had a very small child it would be worth it to me.

Where do you book these and how much does it cost? I can't seem to find anything on the WDW website. Thanks!

We really like the umbrella tables, we have had the ones by the wave pool at BB twice (awesome) and the ones by the lotta lodge once and it worked out well for the party we had each time. We did a shack at TL once and that was ideal as we had my mil and a person with MS -

Trying to decide on a Polar Patio for August as we will again have some in our party who want to visit a water park to enjoy the day with the grandkids but can't stay in the heat all day. Anyone have a good suggestion as to what number would be close to the wave pool?

Oh and you can call the regular reservation line and get transferred to reserve or call the wdw play line but I can't remember the number - sorry.

And the umbrellas book the same for Typhoon Lagoon? Cost $ 40 or $ 55 I've seen both?

Thanks
