Logan check in

Hi,
One quick question:My sister has a 7am flight out of Logan on Wed. June 29. How much time will she need to check in and go through security? Is 1.5 hrs enough? She will be flying withh Delta.Thanks for your help

I would BE AT the airport by 5:00 am. She needs time for the security line, and nobody can guess how long that will take.

We always get there 2 hrs. before our departure time. But, I wonder if 1.5 hrs is now going to be okay since Delta has it's own terminal. I have heard that the security lines are much shorter/quicker. But, I'm sure my dh will still have to get there 2 hrs. before and then be antsy that he has to just sit there!!!

I am flying out of Logan on Song in 10 days! Now that Delta has their own terminal, the brand new terminal A, the lines will not be as bad as whent hey shared a terminal. My neighbor flew out early on a Tuesday and it took her 10 min. to get through security. They did curbside check in. I will let you know when I get back how long the wait was.

I just got back from using the new terminal two weeks ago. I still would get there at 5:00 am. The new terminal is beautiful, but security is still security. You could get stuck behind a big line of kids on a bus, you never know. You just can't risk it. Get there nice and early and enjoy all the new restaurants. Thats what we did, had a leisurely lunch and before we knew it, we were boarding.

terminal A is a big terminal, we went on the 22nd for a flight leaving at 6:30 am, we arrived at about 5:15(would have been earlier, but they had closed the roads to logan except going through city, grrrr), anyways, checkin wasnt bad, neither was security, but if you have to go to the terminal A that is further back, you will have to go down a big escelator, walk for a while, then go back up another one, it can get tiring if you have heavy carry-ons.
