Log On Problems

Hi,

Over the past 2-3 days I've had a problem that has never come up before.

Lately, it's been very difficult to log on smoothly.

Here's the problem:
- I go to the Dis Boards screen and log on correctly with user name / PW.
- I get an error message about this screen unavailable. Server may be too busy
or it may be down.

- But when I go to the Forums page, I can see my screen name under those logged on.
- I can't access CP or post to any threads though.

Any ideas why this should be happening, and have just started recently after severals months
or error-free posting?

Are you still having troubles? Have you tried using www.disboards.com ?

Yes, I've tried different sites. That's not the problem.

The problem is when I try to logon after I get there.

It doesn't recognize my user ID and PW, and yet if I
look at the users on-line, I'm there.

But when I try to access cp or to post to a thread,
it prompts me for my user ID and PW again.

Don't know what's really causing this.

As you can see, I'm posting now and did nothing different.

Ok this is daughter_of_amid_chaos...
i'm having logoff problems...
i can't get off my mom's name..when i logout it says all cookies clear..and then sends me back to my mom's account...
any ideas what to do?

<font color=navy>Try it again, & see if it works. You might have to clear out your cookies for the DIS on your computer - C drive, windows, cookies.
