Loewsfirst and HRH

We just returned from a weekend at HRH. As Platinum members, we got the recent letter from Loews explaining the changes for Loewsfirst. However, according to HRH, they are moving away from their association with Loews. I brought my letter along that stated that we are entitled to $100 resort credit and had to jump through hoops to get them to honor it. It seems from now on, they are only going to grant the Platnium $100 resort credit at Royal Pacific and Protofino. They did give us the usual welcome gift which I was not expecting since I thought they did away with that. It seems that the staff is as confused as I am! So for anyone going soon - bring your letter and ask for a manager to get the $100 resort credit.

It states on the website that HRH is no longer participating in the Youfirst programme, so really you are not entitled to anything.

Ooops - missed that! Well its a good thing that I didn't read the website before we left; I wouldn't of been as convincing! I guess my letter that I received from Youfirst did not state that Hard Rock was no longer participating and that's why they honored it. Must be the reason they kept my letter too! Well it all worked out in the end.
