I got the entertainment rate for HR, now can I ask for an upgrade when I get to the HR. Is that how it works? Have gardenview right now. Only about 6 weeks&counting!!! Brenda

Brenda you sure can. We have the same thing, called, and they told us we could upgrade if there is availability. What a great deal!! have a great time!!

I have 2 connecting rooms reserved,(entertainment rate at HRH) Do you think if I asked for the up grade it would be possible? I thought I had read somewhere if you were a Loewes member you were checked-in at a loewes counter, bypassing the regular check-in counter. Does anyone have any knowledge of this or am I misinformed?

When I asked asked about using the Ecard rate and then upgrading with the Loews member deal they told me you could not combine the two. Should I try again??
Thanks!

I'm going to try when I check in but not too worried about it. If i get an upgrade thats great, if not were still happy with the entertainment rate. I heard about the separate check in as well but not sure. I'm going to call the hotel direct when they open&get details on a few things. Brenda

Check in for Loew's first program was the same counter but it was the last line on the right. There was a sign that said Loews First and it was roped off seperately. Hope that helped. :D

I thought I had read it somewhere. Glad to know the separate check-in is there. Is check-in any faster?

When we checked in there were a good amount of people in line also checking in (looked like a group) and we walked right up to the Loews member check in with no wait. They had 2 people helping Loew's members check in. Anytime I passed the desk during our trip I never saw a line in that spot. It was a nice perk. :)

Funny thing is, I never noticed a separate Loew's members line when we checked into the Portofino. Hm..I was feeling a bit under the weather though, so I wonder if I just missed it. OR - it wasn't crowed at all when I checked in; could it be that they only do the separate line when it's really busy? Just wondering....
