Does anyone know if there are Lockers near the park? If so do u know how much they are to use?

Reason i ask is because im planning to do a birthday dinner at cafe mickey for my daughter and wanted her to wear her princess dress for her meal.
So wanted to keep her dress and other bits in some sort of locker so we dont have to go all way back to Dream Castle Hotel to get changed.

If theres lockers i can leave her dress etc in there and then collect it on the way to cafe mickey after the park and put her dress on in the loos or something :rotfl: :rotfl: instead of going all way back to Dream Castle Hotel to change and then we will have more time in park and wont have to rush.

there is guest storage which is to the right hand side of the entrance into the main park. i can't remember exactly how much it is but for some reason 4 euros per bag is popping into my head.

Thanks Sam, :thumbsup2 thats really helpful.

p.s. I see ur from bournemouth too ;)

If you take a carrier bag-size bag to the left luggage at the entrance to the parks, they will only charge you 2.50 euros to keep it there. Its the suitcases that cost 4.50 euros to store there :thumbsup2

are these the only lockers ? the ones people with APs can use for free ?

xx

Thats the ones :) - except they're not lockers - its a left luggage office. There used to be proper lockers, but they are no more.

Or she could wear her princess dress all day if you didn't want to bother with lockers. My daughter wore a princess dress every day (with jeans or tights and a few layers underneath) and it got her a lot of attention from the characters (loads of people in the parade stopped to talk to her!) and the CM's kept calling her Princess and twirling her around and kissing her hand... so I'd definitely recommend wearing one all day!

yes i had the same experience with my dd. the first day she nearly shook her hand off trying to get characters attention so for the rest of the week it was her snow white dress for the afternoons and she loved the attention. the cms were calling her princess and cinderella and snow white came to hug her in the parade

I was thinking of letting her wear her dress all day, but was worried about the weather, as it will be Middle of November, so thought she might need a coat over her dress, which wouldnt look as good....

But im wondering if i should perhaps put her in Boots, Jeans, a polo neck jumper underneath the dress.

Not sure what weather is usually like over there in Nov, is it like here?
Or freeeeezing!

i always had clothes under ash's dress. you cant even see the pants and i just put a long sleeved top which matched. although i did see people throw the dress over whatever which i thought ruined it a bit but each to their own. i think the dress should be an extra over what ever she would be wearing anyways.

I did the same as mommy2ash, matching underneath-clothes to the dress. Maia had a vest then a long-sleeved top in a colour which matched the dress (but am  that I didn't take it off before we went into the Princess lunch at Auberge, so that she looked properly princessy in her official photo!) Then she had either tights or trousers on underneath, with warm boots. She was warm enough like that when we went last week but she did have to put a jacket over it on 2 of the days as it was raining a fair bit.

The weather is very unpredictable but as a rule it's like here only slightly warmer, I think?

And frankly I'd wear a princess dress myself if I thought I could get away with it :rotfl:

my recent 4 year old, got as a present a Sleeping Beauty dress, it was meant to be for xmas, but thought she could wear it when we are at dlp.

There is plenty of room underneath it for vest, top, she will have a coat over it too. you can not see the trousers. My only concern would it get wrecked.

does anyone know what time the left luggae office opens and closes ?

Thanks

x

The luggage office at the parks is open from the beginning of EMH, and is open until 45 minutes after the official park closing time. There are signs up on the window confirming the closing time each day.
