Lockers? What to do with our bag when riding

We're a Universal family heading to DHS for one day in June. I'm used to the Universal model where there are lockers outside rides where you can't bring your stuff with you. How does Disney handle this?

If we wind up with a ROTR boarding pass after our Droid Depot reservation what do we do with the droid? My backpack?

In most cases you can carry items onto rides with you or it can be designated to be picked up at package pickup near the front of the park at the time of your purchase. Then you can just get it when youre exiting the park.

I'm not sure they have restarted the package delivery to the front of the park perk yet. Last I knew that was not an option following the covid shutdown.

I guess I'm just used to Universal where for many rides they don't want you to put the bag at your feet - and therefore provide free lockers. So for me "normal" is to stow the bag before getting on the ride.
Unless you have an item that's unusually large or a strange shape, I can't think of any instance at all where you'd have to leave your belongings any place.

Lightsabers can be a problem, as another poster said, but anything large-backpack-sized or smaller, you can keep with you at all times.

Will they be ok with us bringing the droid on the ride?
You can mail the droid home from droid depot for cheap. We shipped 2 home for $17. You just have to fill out a slip and they do the rest. They said it’s take 2-3 weeks to get but it came in under a week.

I saw that, and while I think it's a brilliant idea, I know I'll wind up with a couple of crushed kids if they build it and then don't get to "play" with it at the hotel. One of my teens has anxiety so we've been watching build videos so she knows what to expect. The result is they're both pumped for the experience and I'm not sure I'm willing to say ok you'll see it when we get home.
