Lockers at the train station?

Hello again! Can anyone help with a couple more train questions?
Having just realised that the TGV goes into terminal 2 of CDG- which is the one we fly from I think it's a "sign" to use the train! Are there any secure lockers at Marne-La Vallee station (big enough for large cases). I'm thinking that if we leave our cases at the station in the morning it would save us from having to go back to SL Hotel in the afternoon-so more park time!
Also, how long before departure should we be at the station? (I've ordered the tickets to be posted to us here in Greece so I'll have them).
Never having travelled by train in France I'm clueless- so any tips appreciated! Thankyou all once more.

If you already have your park tickets or APs, then your plan sounds like a good one Skala :goodvibes .

There are secure lockers at the train station at DLRP - they are one floor above the main concourse. Its manned, and the largest lockers are 10 euros ish per day. The largest lockers easily take big suitcases (in fact, you might even get all your luggage in the one locker).

We managed to get 2 parts of our Quinnt Buzz (carrycot & wheels) into a large locker, with room left. It cost 9euros 50.

Thanks for asking this Skala. I logged on last night to find out the very same thing :goodvibes

Hi,
we used the facility on the morning we left to come home.

As somone said above, 9 euros 50 cents (cash only) for a large locker which held 2 full size cases and a couple of holdalls/bags.
I would get there early, right enough, as by the time we collected our bags around 12ish the lockers were all taken and someone was waiting while we emptied ours to put their bags straight in.

The signage in the lockers suggests you collect your bags 20 minutes before your train is due. This was ideal as you have to get down 3 floors and then check the board to see which part of the platform you have to stand at to board the train seeing as they have around 20 carriages. So you could have a long walk to where you have to board the train.

By the way, we flew into terminal 2B and had no problems finding and boarding the train to Disney. And that was with 2 large cases, a buggy, and 2 kids under the age of 4. The way back was even easier as the train and platform were not very busy.

I also meant to add that there is a change machine next to the lockers. ie I only had a 10 euro note but the machine changed it to 1s,2s and 50 cents.

When we used the lockers in Oct we had a very friendly man help us use the lockers and he changed our note for us into coinage and helped us sort out the right size locker. We were going to use the large locker but we managed to fit it all into a medium locker which was around 7 euros. Be prepared to have everything you take into the locker room scanned by x-ray machine.

theres plenty of room in the lockers you shouldn't have any problems with them :thumbsup2
