So I already know that there are a couple rides that will get us pretty wet.
Are there lockers near these rides where we could stash a change of clothes if needed?
thanks

Yes, there is a bank to the left of the entrance to Dudley Dorights that my son and I used last trip. Just make sure you keep the card you use to pay with you! I left it in the locker with everything else and had to get an employee to open it for me. 🤣

Something to note about these lockers- all the other lockers for the rides in the parks are free. However, they charge for the water ride lockers. So just be aware of that

Yes was baffled that these were pay lockers….use the locker and ride both wet rides then go back for the lockers.

You are right....I thought it was ridiculous.

To clarify, the free lockers are only offered at rides that require you to place bags and loose articles in them because bags/loose articles pose safety concerns or may interfere with safety restraints on the respective ride. Because no loose articles are permitted on these rides, they provide the lockers for free for the brief time you are on the ride. The lockers tell you how long it will remain free (usually more than enough time to get through the queue, on the ride, and back to the locker). After the free period expires, they do impose a fee if you intend to keep using it.

The lockers at Dudley Do Right impose a fee from the beginning because the ride allows people to bring bags on the ride. In other words, they do not require bags and loose articles be secured for safety reasons. Therefore, they do not provide a free solution for this.

There are also lockers at the front of the park that you can rent for a flat fee for the duration of the day. These never have a free period either.

And they are worth every penny IMHO. You literally get drenched through to your skin on these rides, particularly Bluto's. What my family has always done is dress in our bathing suits, etc. at the hotel and go to the park with the goal of riding each of the big three water rides multiple times. We bring along everything else in a small backpack, including a towel. We get the locker and put everything in there except our Express Passes and the credit/debit card we are paying with. Once we are done getting soaked, we get our stuff out, dry off and get back to enjoying the day.
I always feel so sorry for the people I see having to walk around the park in saturated blue jeans and sneakers.

Agreed! We always plan to do the water rides last at IOA before heading back to our resort. We cough up the money for the locker at Dudley's, ride that, then Popeye, then walk back to Jurassic Park and do that while our stuff is still in the locker. On our way out of the park, we'll swing back and grab our stuff before heading back to the hotel to change out of the wet clothes. We keep our ticket, express pass, and credit card in a waterproof lanyard around our necks.

You might as well be in your bathing suit, because you will get soaked on Dudley Do Right and Bluto's. We didn't know that. Did the giant dryer twice. Junk. It was 90 degrees and 90% humid and we froze to death at Margaritaville. You'll have to carry around the wet clothes if you do the locker switch.

That said, I can't wait to take my kids on this and freeze to death on our way back to the hotel.

Yep, we stay at one of the 3 hotels that are the closest, wear out bathing suits and quick dry clothes, with flip flops, and do the 3 water rides in IOA as much as we want, via express lines, then walk or ride boat back to hotel, enjoy the pool for some time and then clean up, or just go back and clean up. Fun when it’s hot as heck out. And yeah, while depends on how heavy the boat is, and where you sit, to get more soaked, but the other two, plan on being very wet.
