We are heading to WDW in Sept. with our 1 year old twins. I have a couple questions about what you do with your stuff while you are on a ride...

1.) Where do you put your stroller while you ride?
2.) What do you do with your diaper bag and bags of souveniers or whatever while you ride?
3.) Is it worth while to rent a locker, or is it too far to keep walking back to?

I'm so confused. I haven't been to Disney since I was a kid and now I'm going as a parent, with two babies, and diapers and all that baby crap in tow.

Help! :)

ooh! I hope you get some good answers, because we'll also be taking our 1 year old, and we have the same questions! Keep in touch, we can share our knowledge! GL and have fun!!

1. There is stroller parking at or near each ride, your stroller may be moved around by CMs while you are riding so tie a bright ribbon to it to make it easier to find.
2. You should take anything valuable with you. If you think you will make a lot of purchases you can, have your purchases sent to the front of the park and pick them up on the way out at night, or if you are staying onsite you can have them sent to your room, just ask the CM who rings up your purchase about both options.
3. The lockers are at the front of the MK under the train station, only you can decide whether or not the hike upfront is worth it.

The easiest thing to do is to have souvineers sent back to your room if you stay on property. Maybe I was too trusting, but I have pretty much just left everything in the stroller during rides during the last 3 trips with no real problems. We did have one small toy (a prize fromt he games at Dinoland USA) disappear but it realy wasn't a big deal. We brought our own stroller this year and I tied some clips onto it and clipped small toys on so they would be a little harder for some kid passing by to grab. I always take a small camera bag hooked to my belt that holds my money and the camera.. nothing else of value ever leaves the safe in my room. As for Diaper bags.. they are always a ton of them in strollers when people are on the rides. I have heard of suggestions of leaving a mustard filled diaper on top to deter others from digging through.. probably would work as the people who steal are going to go to the easiest target.

I used a locker one time and forgot the key in the door with my video camera, DD princess dress, etc. inside the locker.. after that I figured stuff was probably safer in the stroller. lol.

Have a wonderful trip.

Thank you guys so much for your tips! If people want to steal a bag of sippy cups and diapers... then I guess they probably need them more than I do! :)

Good Luck to you too Kim and thank you to everyone else for being such expert Disney travelers and helping out rookies like me!!!!

I have a backpack that has spare clothes, wipes, sunscreen, etc. I just take it with me on the rides. It also has my water bottle so while I'm waiting I can have a drink. If there is room left in the backpack then put souveniers inside.
