i'm curious about lockers and park hopping. If you visit 3 parks in a day and wanted to get a locker, do you have to pay for a locker in each park?

I believe you just pay for it at the first park, then show the receipt at the next park's locker rental place. You might still have to pay the deposit (at the second park - but I could be wrong about that), but you get it back when you turn the key back in.

All-Day-Access Lockers
Rent a key-operated locker that you can access all day for a one-time fee. A $5 refundable deposit is also required for each locker key. You must return your key no later than one hour after park closing to receive your deposit.

I've never rented at a park but at the waterparks we hopped and we just had to show our receipt and they gave us a locker at the new park.

If you use a gift card to pay for the key deposit, make sure you keep the gift card, even if you use up the rest of the money on it. They will do the key deposit refund back to the method of payment used to pay the deposit.

Has anyone hopped and gotten a locker at the second (or third) park recently? (August 2017 or later?)
When we were at WDW in July they were in the process of switching to keyless lockers and I got the impression from cast members that paying once and using the locker at multiple parks was on the way out.
Thanks!!

Not sure if anyone has used a locker recently, but all lockers are now digital - no key.

Guest Lockers Have Been Upgraded at all Walt Disney World Theme Parks
Jackie Gailey | August 28, 2017

Earlier this month, we told you about the new digital guest lockers at Magic Kingdom Park. The guest lockers have now been upgraded at all Walt Disney World theme parks and as part of the update, the process for renting a locker has been changed.

Each locker location is now equipped with a self-service kiosk. Guests paying with cash or credit card may now proceed directly to the kiosk to rent a locker. Guests paying with a MagicBand or gift card must see a Cast Member at the nearest merchandise location. The merchandise Cast Member will process the transaction at a register and give the guest a code to input into the kiosk, allowing them to access a locker.

Lockers are available in the following sizes:

Standard (12.5” X 10” X 17”) $7 per day
Large (15.5” X 13” X 17”) $10 per day
Jumbo – ONLY available at Epcot and Magic Kingdom (17” x 22” x 26”) $15 per day

Guests are no longer required to pay a deposit when renting a locker.

Lockers are located near the main entrance of each park, as well as the International Gateway entrance at Epcot.

Yeah, I would be concerned about recent changes. These seem to be the same design as the ones at DLR, which have no CMs involved-its all through kiosks. So you can't transfer from DL to DCA or vice versa. Of course, those parks are right next to each other so its not needed, but if the same systems are used at WDW, there wouldn't be anyone to check the receipt and give you a new one at the next park.

No longer the case.
The lockers are no longer key operated. In September we had to rent a locker at each park, they no longer allow you to rent once and use at another park.
