Locker rentals

We'll be there in December, and am planning on layering our clothes. However, I don't want to carry a big bag with me on the rides. Does anyone know how much the locker rentals are (and, I'm assuming they have lockers to rent)? Where are the lockers located? Do you put money in them, or do you rent from a counter person? Thanks!

First I wanted to say... we are going to be neighbors soon. We are building a house in Grand Prairie (should be out there sometime in May)... Anyway, here is all the info you ever wanted to know about lockers

Theme Parks:
$5 rental per day plus $2 key deposit. Receive $2 refund when key is returned. Key must be turned in up to 1 hour after park closing.
Key operated lockers may be opened as often as desired.

Epcot luggage lockers and Disney-MGM Studios Bus Information lockers are coin-operated. Coins must be inserted each time the locker is to be re-locked.

Using Lockers at more than one Theme Park in the same day:
Return key and receive $2 deposit and receipt.
Present receipt at next Theme Park and pay $2 deposit to receive key for the remainder of the day.

Locker Sizes and Locations:
Magic Kingdom

Inside the park adjacent to the Wheelchair and ECV rental location. Extra-large - 17.5"h x 12"w x 16" deep

Epcot

At base of Spaceship Earth, on the right side as you enter the park. Small - 11"h x 9"w x 16" deep
Extra-large - 17"h x 12"w x 22" deep

Outside at Epcot Bus Facility, behind Bus Information booth
Luggage lockers - 23"h x 16"w x 29" deep (Coin operated - $1.00 - 4 quarters)

International Gateway Strollers
Small - 11"h x 9"w x 16" deep

Disney-MGM Studios

Oscar's Super Service (rent at Crossroads of the World)
Small - 11"h x 9"w x 16" deep
Extra-large - 17"h x 12"w x 22" deep

Outside the park by Bus Information
Extra-small - 4"h x 3"w x 5" deep (Coin operated - $0.50)
Extra-large - 17"h x 12"w x 22" deep (Coin operated - $1.00 - 4 quarters)

Disney's Animal Kingdom

Expedition Storage Lockers (near Guest Relations)
Small - 11"h x 9"w x 16" deep
Large - 17"h x 9"w x 16" deep

Outside near the Kennel (rent inside the Kennel)
Small - 11"h x 9"w x 16" deep
Large - 17"h x 9"w x 16" deep
Extra-large - 17"h x 12"w x 16" deep

Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC):

4 quarters ($1.00)
Coin-operated. One time use. Each time the locker is to be re-locked, additional coins must be inserted.
Next to Bus Information Booth
23"h x 16"w x 29" deep

Downtown Disney Area:
4 Quarters ($1.00)
Coin-operated. One time use. Each time the locker is to be re-locked, additional coins must be inserted.

Downtown Disney Marketplace
Located on the dock near Cap'n Jack's Marina rental window
Large 17"h x 9"w x 16" deep

Pleasure Island:
Across from Motion
Mannequins Dance Palace - 2nd floor next to the elevator
8TRAX spiral staircase landing
Small 11"h x 9"w x 16" deep

Water Parks:

Price/Use:
Small: $5 rental per day plus $5 key deposit
Large: $7 rental per day plus $5 key deposit
Receive $5 refund when key is returned

Typhoon Lagoon
Small: 12"h x 12"w x 16" deep
Large: 18"h x 18"w x 16" deep
Lockers located next to Guest Restroom/Changing Area

Blizzard Beach
Small: 11"h x 9"w x 16" deep
Large: 17"h x 9"w x 16" deep
0-1000 Snowless Joe's locker area (rent all lockers here)
2000-2999 Near Ski Patrol
3000-4000 Near Downhill Double Dipper

$5.00 per day, plus $2.00 Key Deposit.
Usually very close to whatever Main Entrance
You pay an the nearby store.
For example, at Epcot, the lockers are on the right side, sort of under Spaceship Earth, behind the restrooms. You pay at the nearby Camera Store.
Large lockers, you can access all day long, at the end of your stay, return the key for your $2.00 deposit.

Thanks I have been in Florida for 24 years, I guess I am just ready for a change. Having just had our son, hubby and I decided to move to be closer to my family, they are all in Grand Prairie (his family is in Michigan). So we bought Disney Vacation Club so that we could always come back and visit and off to Texas we go...

We always pay for small things like this in cash, but the CM's who rent the lockers all have cash registers, so charging should be no big deal.

They can, but consider that there will also be folks exiting that park thoughout the day, so lockers do become available.
