Locker Dimensions- Picnic Area

So my husband and I will be flying in to LAX on 1/13/17, and are planning on meeting my parents at Disneyland that night. We get in super early and our hotel room won't be ready yet, and our hotel is super far away anyways (parents will be driving us when they meet us).
I was wondering what the dimensions are for the lockers in the picnic area, since I know they can store coolers and all we're bringing is a carry on and a backpack. Would we be able to store a generic sized carry on in a locker? We'd love to be able to spend time in the parks starting that day and not have to wait

I found this info. Does anyone know if it's current ? I thought they took out the charging lockers. Maybe not ?

Well, the last 2 are only located in the current Picnic Area, which is located outside the security check area. But Disney has confirmed by the endo fo the year, all of Downtown DIsney, including the picnic area will be part of the "secure area".

So who know if or where the larger lockers will be located in 2017.

What is "super early"? There's a 5K that morning, you might have an issue bringing any suitcase into DTD that day prior to say, 9 or 10am. How are you getting to the parks? You might want to price a 1 way car rental, and factor in parking, because that cost may not be significantly more than your other airport transportation plus the locker rental. Then you can just store the bags in the car anfd return the car when your parents arrive.
