Lock-off vs dedicated 2br

Everyone has done a great job of describing the difference in the 2 types of units. I LOVED having a lock off when when my parents went down with us (they were able to stay in the "studio" section of the 2 bedroom, but we could open the door in between, so they could come over for coffee in the morning and stay with my son in the evening if we went out. Now that we have 3 children (a 6 y.o. and 2 y.o. twins), we have requested a dedicated 2 br for our next trip since the kids will now be staying in the 2nd br and I definitely wouldn't want them to have an entrance/exit into the hallway or outdoors (depending on the resort) in their room. Hope this helps!!

Thanks a bunch. Everyone here has been so helpful! We are taking a couple from our church with us who are quite a bit older than us ( we are in our 40's they are in their 60's) for Night of Joy. We wanted to make sure this 2 bedroom lock off was what we were expecting as we have not traveled with them before and want to make sure we all have our privacy.

We took the inlaws and PREFERRED the lock-off. Grandpa used motorized scooter and the 2nd door was wonderful for getting everyone out in an organized manner. They really liked the kitchenette to put there essentials:cool1:
