I was strolling through Disneyland last night and was wondering what locations in the park that people have gotten married or are available to be married at.:bride::groom:

When I looked here for answers, I couldn’t find any so I figured I'd start my own thread.:surfweb:

Does anyone have any pictures of places IN DISNEYLAND where you can get married or have been married?:confused:

I’m not talking about the resorts or Cal Adventure. I’m talking inside Disneyland :)

I would love to see and hear from you! Thanks

This is from the Disney Wedding Blog:

Disneyland

* Sleeping Beauty Castle Forecourt
* Aladdin's Oasis
* King Arthur's Carrousel
* Small World Mall

If you do a search there, you might be able to find some photos or video of in-park weddings. http://www.disneyweddingblog.com/search/label/Disneyland

I saw that earlier but I was just thinking more specifically.

I mean "Sleeping Beauty's Castle" can be a number of places!
On the drawbridge? Underneath? Inside? Off the the side? Behind?

:confused:

Just thoughts of mine. Also i know you can virutally choose any spot in the park as well so I was just wondering where those could possibly be.

I wish I could find pictures :confused3

Weddings at Sleeping Beauty's Castle are held in the open area behind the castle (remember that the front of the castle faces into Fantasyland). So it is the open area where the compass is on the ground, between the castle and the Partners statue. Here are pictures from a Castle wedding.

You cannot choose any spot within the park; you can only be married in the locations listed by the PP. Perhaps if you waved enough money at Disney they would be willing to consider it. As it is, weddings inside the park start at $75,000. Weddings inside DCA start at $30,000 and weddings at the hotels start at $5000.

That's weird cause I saw this little cozy grass yard next to the castle and found this picture:

So there can be weddings other then the draw bridge and they can do them during park hours. I've also heard of weddings in different places besides those four listed.

This one pictured is max like 10 people so I'm wondering if Disney has a smaller priced wedding because I doubt thats 75k

:confused3

Years ago (prior to 2003) DLR FTW had the option ot do intimate in-park weddings next to the castle. This was discontinued and talk resurfaced a few years ago. I believe this image was form one of the weddings that was on an intimate scale. I'm not sure of the price or if they are still doing these.

When we got married we inquired about using the Disney Gallery and were turned down.

I just spoke to Disney about this last week. You cannot do wedding/reception events "virtually anywhere" inside Disneyland. For example, we have been interested in doing first our wedding, and later a vow renewal in New Orleans Square, but park management simply does not allow events there. I also asked about the Tiki Room and was told "no way, at no price." (Yet, apparently if you're Pixar's Pete Docter you can do an event there...)

The only wedding setup they offer now is the late-night/early morning in front of the castle, with potential for an evening reception in Fantasyland and Small World Mall. You can do receptions in other areas of the parks, like Aladdin's Oasis, Big Thunder Ranch, etc., but nothing on a small-group scale. They won't prevent you from doing these with a small group, but you would have to pay the same tens of thousands of dollars as large groups pay.

Gotcha! Thanks :) that helps clear things up a lot. I was really confused.

I'm wondering the same but for Magic Kingdom spots (or any WDW theme park really). I know a couple that did something spectacular back in 2007 (Sarahandfred.com). I'm hoping to plan something really unique for a group of about 40-50 where both the ceremony and reception will be held in-park. I haven't spoken to a Disney official yet as I'm just starting to do some early planning (it wont be till early 2016). But I'm wondering whether or not someone has managed something similar since 2007.
