location/view from Saratoga Springs

When I was at Disney last I noticed the construction of the building while we were eating at Wolfgang Puck. (We were seated outside and it was directly across.)

Anyway, was this where the Disney Institute's townhouses used to be?

Also does anyone have any idea how many of the new units will have a view of Downtown Disney?

Yes, SSR is where the old DI townhouses used to be.

Not sure how many will have DD view.

I stayed at a DI 2 bdr townhouse in Jan 2000 that faced PI. It can have it's plusses and minuses. Cool water view with lots of ducks and snowy egrets. Lots of noise bounces off the water from PI plus fireworks at midnight, which can disturb young children and those who turn in early.

Four buildings (46 units per building) will have a view of DD.

We stayed at the Townhouses prior to 1993 and were neber bothered by any sounds at PI. (They last only about 10 minutes and will be muffled unless you leave the balcony doors open at midnight.)
