I am visiting the Wilderness Lodge villas for the first time next week as a renter. Does anyone have any recommendations for villa location? I'd like to have a quiet villa with the possibility of a view (can you see the Magic Kingdom from the villas or any other landmark?) Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Stayed at VWL 2010 Spring Break in a 1 bedroom. Loved it! We were on the 4th floor near the atrium. Perfect location. View of the quiet pool and a little bit of the lake. We could see some of the water parade at night. You will enjoy it! Refreshing walk to boat launch and the atmosphere is very relaxing! :cool2:

We were there in May and stayed at 4537. Not too far off the atrium to be a walk, but far enough to not hear all the foot traffic. Outside, quiet, enough of the balcony view to see pool but not hear it, and could see water show thru the trees at night. Have a great time.

It's a pretty small resort with not much of a view - mostly just woods, woods and more woods. And perhaps a glimpse of the lake through the woods.

The WL is between VWL and the MK, so no view of the MK.

Thanks for the information, I didn't even know there were five floors! I appreciate everyone responding so quickly and hope I can use all your suggestions.

I would recommend you base your preferences on what you want to be close to rather than the view. Most of the views at VWL are similar -- trees. This is a good resort to choose based on criteria like close to elevator/transportation.

Stayed at VWL last october in a dedicated 2BR villa. Had a great view of the lake.

Room number was 3553.

Thank you, Brandis. I can see what some other visitors described---lots of trees! It will be exciting to see them for myself, so thanks for the preview!

Thanks, Dave. I appreciate your advice. I see that you only have 50 days until your next Disney visit---hope you have a great time!
