Location of Fast Pass machine for Radiator Springs Racers

Here are a couple of RSR FP data points -- with photos -- from the last two Saturdays:

Both days (August 11 & 18):

Arrived at DCA at 7:15am (did not have any Early Admission)

DCA turnstiles opened at 7:29am. Both days I starting waiting in front of the Carthay Circle Restaurant at 7:32am.

Saturday, August 11 -------> Got RSR FPs at 8:14am (Return Time = 10:30A - 11:30A)

(and Surprise FPs for Calif. Screamin' for 6 people; Return Time = 8:25A - 9:25A)

Saturday, August 18 -------> Got RSR FPs at 8:11am (Return Time = 8:25A - 9:25A)

(and Surprise FPs for Grizzly River Run for 6 people; Return Time = 8:15A - 9:15A)

FWIW, here are some photos:

Find the CM with the "FP Line Starts Here" sign. At 7:30am, he or she will be moving pretty quickly. :)

While I was waiting, my girlfriend picked up a couple of coffees at Fiddlers/Starbucks.

The line for RSR FPs was going around the CCT

The line went to the Disney Theater at 7:45am.

At 8:00am the FP line starts moving and it goes toward A Bugs Land and makes a U-turn.

The entrance to the RSR FastPass Distribution line. On both days I saw the guests inserting their own tickets into the FP machines.

What do you mean by "surprise Fastpasses"? Thanks for the info and pics!

I think a surprise fastpass is like a bonus fastpass that you get when you are getting fastpass for a ride. For example during my July trip I got a surprise fastpass for the Ariel ride for 6 people when I was getting the fastpass for RSR.

Just wanted to thank everyone who has helped on this thread. I knew exactly where to go and how long it would take. We were at the turnstiles at 8:10am...mostly because we were up and ready, otherwise I don't think you need to be there quite that early. They opened the turnstiles exactly at 830am. I was waiting in front of Carthay Circle all of two minutes later (because I knew exactly where to go and what to look for, THANK YOU.). The line started moving at 9am and I had fast passes in my hand at 916am, with a return time of 1155am. No surprise fast passes and there were CMs at the machines to get the fast passes for you.

Sorry so slow to reply.

Our shuttle arrived at the gates each day between 7:15 to 7:30.

They let you in the park at about 7:30 to line up. At 8:00 the line starts moving and goes pretty quickly. the castmembers even take your tickets and get the FP's for you, which I believe eliminates the folks who have a hard time getting FP's quickly.

It all works very well. Yesterday (Wednesday, Aug 15th) I had 4 Fp's to RSR, WOC, and CS and was waiting in a less than 10 minute line for TSM all by 8:40.

:)

How did you get past passes for multiple rides? I thought you had to wait for your window to start or at least two hours past when you first got the pass?

The WOC FPs do not have any affect on your ability to get other FPs. California Screamin' is a disconnected FP, which means you can obtain a FP even if you are already holding a FP for another ride.
