Location of ESPN on Boardwalk

I know this is probably a silly question to many. Sorry.
Can anyone tell me if ESPN is close to the entrance of
the boardwalk, coming from the BC? I read that ESPN was
on one end of the boardwalk but, was wondering which end.
We will be having dinner there our first night at the BC, in about two
weeks, and was just wondering if we would reach ESPN first coming
from BC or would we pass other rest. and shops first. Although I have
been to Disney and stayed on site many times, this is our first trip
to the BC and first visit to the BW area. I can not wait. Thanks for any
information anyone can give me.

You can go either way, to pass all of the shops or you can go directly to ESPN. The BW area makes a big circle, so it just depends on which way you decide to walk.

If you exit the back lobby doors of the BC & walk directly toward the lagoon. Once you reach the walkway - turn left (you are now walking toward Epcot International Gateway). You will reach a point where you either continue walking straight (in which case you will end up at the Epcot back gate) you can also take the "low road" (this also ends up at back gate of Epcot) or you can make a right turn - making the right turn will head you toward the Boardwalk. The first establishment on the left is ESPN Club.

Of course if you turn right at the walkway behind BC you will pass YC turn left at Dolphin Bridge another left down a steep incline and you will arrive at the other end of the BW (Atlantic Dance Club & JellyRolls). ESPN Club in this instance will be all the way at the opposite end of the Boardwalk.

You're welcome, disgirl, and I forgot to say welcome to the DIS! The BW resort area is our favorite area because it's so close to 2 of the parks, and there is sooo much going on on the BW itself. Let us know how you like your hotel, we are considering the BC for our next summer vacation.
