Location, Location, Location!

Which Disney Resort has the best centralized location in terms of accessing Theme parks, Dowtown Disney, Boardwalk, etc.?

The Epcot area hotels are probably closest to the center of the entire property, (YC / BC / BW / Swan / Dolphin). You can walk to Epcot, MGM and the Boardwalk, and they are much closer to DTD than the MK resorts.

Depends which theme parks you will spend most of your time in, but the EPCOT area resorts really are in the middle of the "action." On the other hand if you plan to spend a lot of thime at the magic Kingdom, then maybe a monorail resort would be better.

If you decide on the Epcot area, consider the Swan and Dolphin as you can get some great rates there. I think they compare to any of Disney's Deluxes and we got better service there than at the BC on our last trip.

I would think any of the Epcot area resorts... you're walking distance to two theme parks and the Boardwalk is right there. Great dining choices and bus rides to AK and MK aren't too bad, although these resorts do share bus lines.

The MK resorts are great for getting to the MK, and Polynesian is is great for direct monorail access to MK and Epcot, but these resorts can feel a little remote too. Downtown Disney in particular seems like it is in another state when you're traveling from a monorail resort.

It just depends what parks you like and where you'll be spending your time. Like others said, with Epcot resorts, you can walk or take a boat to Epcot and MGM. Plus, you have the Boardwalk. If you're going to spend a lot of time at MK, then monorail resorts might be better. You can use the monorail for MK or Epcot. You can also use boats to get to MK or other resorts on the lagoon: GF, Poly, CR and WL.
