Thanks to my FIL, we have the opportunity to stay at Shades of Green on a military discount.
We have a week long 2020 trip booked there for 3 families, 2 of which have never been. Rooms are described as comparable to the poly in terms of size and quality, pool has a water slide, and it’s located across the street from the Poly so I assumed we will mostly be walking there for disney buses and the monorail to get to parks.
now with the military discount we can also apparently stay at POP, same nights for just a few hundred more on price, but could get the dining plan, magic express, Pop theming,
Skyliner, etc.
Am I silly to be considering moving everyone to smaller rooms at a theoretically “worse” resort just to have the convenience of the Disney bubble?
Both have 60 day FP so that’s not a factor.
